Yep, it made him huge. They probably had to make him a huge coffin, too. Lost my best friend to that shit and a few other friends, too. Stay away from all that shit, folks. Too many guys too concerned with their looks and it ends up taking them out at a young age. So sad. And before anybody says it's because "they didn't know what they were doing", Rich looked like he knew what he was doing, didn't he? He sounds like he knows what he was doing, here. You don't know what to do, you don't always know what you're getting, and it DOES kill you. Be safe out there. RIP Rich.

Meh, there are health implications for even mild doses of steroids. And they often require a bunch of other drugs to mitigate the negatives side effects.

True, burn patients, people with AIDS, muscle wasting, poor bone density and anemia all benefit from steroids. Deca is even indicated for women with osteoporosis. GH has been shown in studies to drastically increase collagen synthesis. Most of the strength gains from GH are due to the collegen getting stronger not necessarily the actin & myosin. I would love to know however why rich didnt stay on some kind of anabolic to also help healing.

Thanks Ric and Rich for being probably some of the most honest and informative guys in bodybuilding. I've learned a lot from these videos. I'm a lifetime drug-free lifter, but I respect those who are honest about the personal choice to use PED's. It really is just a personal choice.
