Good evening Austin, great repairs by Rich on this beautiful Buick, my dad was big into Buicks in the 60 and 70s,except he was into the luxury land yachts not the muscle cars, keep up the awesome content!😁

@@LucoreAuto I used to see this olds around 64-65 every time I went to the ford training center in Cincinnati. First time I drove up in the morning and though that’s cool, but the next two times I had to go up there I’d see it on the interstate. It was kinda rough, but complete looking. Just blew my mind to see someone daily driving it. It was a cool ride though!

Car went 11:20@ 4200# in the 1/4 , with a 4:10 Chevelle 12 bolt I also installed. Had it painted and used a GSX front and rear spoiler and finished it with Auto Drag Centerline wheels .

steve cr, I have a few classic/vintage high preference vehicles. All have stainless steel exhaust including the mufflers. Over the years, I've raced against several Buicks and not one ever hurt my feelings. Only one ever beat me but it was three classes higher in the NHRA.

Is it the factory 455 or is it the pointac block with the buick heads
@altpraize67082 жыл бұрын
It's a Buick block.....the ignition distributor is in the front, and tilted over towards the driver side. Pontiac v8 had dist in the rear like Chevy
@sergeantmasson36692 жыл бұрын
What, no power ratchet? Also, why didn't you check the correct application for that specific engine? The water pump is shorter because of the Skylark body. 400 and 455 Buick engines are basically the same. Thus 400 and 455 engines use the same water pump other than shaft length according to the car's body.
