It is always super heartbreaking to see an 80 year old out in the 110 degree weather addicted living on the streets. Praying Richard gets himself together and saves himself. Prayers for both🙏🏼

I'm female 80 yrs old and I had to work until I was 73 having had 3 hip replacements and 5 bad discs also 6 dislocations no matter what keep the job or I also would have been dependent on family for a home and care this young man is doing his best he obviously loves his grandad there but for the grace of god go I I will not live in care I have seen the treatment of people in so called care stuff it I say I like this gentleman would take my chances with his grandson my LOVE to them both and a big HUG Uck the world

Grandparents are the most precious humans wee have and we've gotta protect them. How simple it is To have a bottle of water in your car for someone. I go to the bargain store and for $8.00 purchase 80 bottles of water. I live on disability but $8.00 can help 80 people. Living in Florida, it can save a life.🙏 I try to carry at least 10 bottles in my car every day.

USA has a lot of opportunities, resources and choices. USA helps people like people who live on the streets. Free health care that comes out of tax dollars. I don’t think they hit bottom yet. You have to want to get clean. Their a better life out there for them and this isn’t it. I won’t blame this kinda lifestyle on USA.

This was so hard to watch 😢💔 It's positive to hear that the probation officer sees potential in Richard, hopefully her presence will help hold him accountable and motivate him to make better choices. It seems like he could do it with proper support. How could his grandfather survive the withdrawals? 😩

Drugs did this by their choosing. Family gets tired and it’s super draining to insert yourself into trying to help two addicted adults. How can anyone help them when they’re not helping themselves. This has been going on for years.

This is pure evil, fellow Americans, veterans and there grand kids living on the streets. My own family especially my mother have abused and neglected me horribly my whole life. I started learning several years ago in my late forties that they're all very psychopathic and narcissistic to me my whole life. Im 56 now and virtually never had any family or home my whole life when i easily should gave been able too. They did trauma based mind control on me or something very similar my whole life to me. Ive been having horrible memories about my family abuse and neglect these last several years. They abandoned me and kick me to the curb my whole life ever since I was a child. Crap, this is evil.
