I work for a company that supports hospice and it is so very lovely to know Richard's mum was graciously cared for and his appreciation for them. How he must miss her, especially on a big day like this. Richard always seems to be kindhearted, humble, humorous, and thinking of others. Happy Birthday!!!

I really enjoy Mr. Armitage's acting and I hope he has a great birthday and great year ahead. It was sad when he mentioned his mum but I hope he finds solace in the memory that she did see him become successful in his career - film, TV and stage. Это мой 50-й день рождения. Многие из вас знают, я не очень люблю праздновать свои дни рождения. Я всегда немного смущаюсь, когда люди выключают свет и выкатывают торт в свечах и принимаются петь "С днем рождения тебя!". Но знаете, я на днях искал один документ и наткнулся на свое свидетельство о рождении. Не помню, чтобы видел его раньше. Это оригинал документа. Он написан красивым почерком перьевой ручкой. И вот видишь свое имя, дату и место рождения... В моем случае это родильный дом Roundhills. Не думаю, что он еще существует. Но больше всего меня пронзили имена мамы и папы в свидетельстве. И я осознал, что в твой день рождения дело не столько в тебе. Это возможность поблагодарить тех, кто привел тебя в этот мир. Я думал, что мама будет рядом, чтобы праздновать мой 50-й день рождения, но она не смогла. Но есть мой папа, есть мой брат и его семья, и есть вы. Так что давайте я буду праздновать с вами и скажу вам спасибо за поддержку все эти годы и за все добрые слова и креативные подарки, которые вы преподнесли. За благотворительные взносы. И особенно за аукцион на благо хосписа Loros. Я также сделаю свой взнос на счет Loros, они потрясающая благотворительная организация и они очень позаботились о моей маме, когда она поистине нуждалась в них. Так что я жду своего пятидесятилетия. Впереди у меня много новых авантюр и несколько новых идей. И я думаю, что поистине сохраняет твою молодость, так это любопытство. А его у меня все еще хоть отбавляй. I don't really celebrate my birthday, haven't since 2000 (2001 pretty much made it impossible because "terrorists in airplanes"), that and being the center of attention like that just freaks me out, so I can understand why you don't normally celebrate yours. Milestones are important though, and sharing them with those who love you makes all the difference. ;)
