Amazing. I had a pure chance meeting with the band just before they made it big. On my Duke of Edinburgh's award expedition, camping in the lake District in the early 90s. A few of them and one had a US girlfriend were in the tent next to us. We sat up smoking and having a laugh. I'd never heard of them and then not long after...bitter sweet symphony came out 🤯

Yep. Sadly from about the early 2000's onwards, most of it has been manufactured trash. Then you have the x-factor factor, manufacturing more trash. Real bands and real music in charts are a thing of the past it sadly seems. I like all sorts of good music and a wide range (other than the manufactured pop rubbish) but there seems to be a massive gap left by proper "rock n roll" indie bands. And lets face it, the PC MSM aint ever letting the likes of a an at his peak and in his prime Liam Gallagher (and yes this was Ashcroft but he was less controversial) live on air or anyone similar these days.

Welsh x file 1 sounded better in the 90s when his voice wasn’t so fucked up from drugs and cigarettes 🚬 but ok
