Pushing the hood down is a bad idea. I hate seeing that. Focused pressure from your hand can dent the sheet metal. Always better to use the hoods own momentum to engage the latch. It will spring evenly against the hood seal.

This is definitely one of my favourite JLG videos, the car is cool but Richard just seems like such a cool car dude. Not up himself, he easily could be if he wanted to but he seems so at ease and that's the car people I can talk to :)

Richard and his fabulous 'Cuda made this my favorite episode! He is a true car guy who knows all the facts and figures and history of his vehicle. And he closes the hood with his shirt. The very definition of a car guy!

This episode was really a good one. One of my favorite singers, and a '70 'Cuda! I believe they, Karen and Richard toured from show to show in this 'Cuda. Jay at one time Richard had a large stable of Mopar's which would make for another great show.

I'm actually a Pontiac guy(had 3 GTO's and a '77 Grand Prix, last of the "big ones"), but this Plymouth is special. I like it a lot! Unencumbered by smog equipment and true high compression(I'm sure he has 10:50 or 11:00 compression ratios); the last of Detroit's true MUSCLE. And the beautiful thing about it was you could order your "street sweeper" from the FACTORY just like you wanted it! I graduated from high school in 1970, so this car is from my era. Nice job, Richard. And kudos to you too, Jay. Long time subscriber here.

This is like the original MTV for boomers, I start watching and I can’t leave it because each episode is so damn interesting! It’s not only the cars I grew up with it is also the stories surrounding them Leno collects history not to impress but to maintain the story.
