For Bandcamp Friday, I am very excited to announce I am releasing a new track called "Recursion Constructors". This piece was a commission for the University of Huddersfield. A 12-minute mind-bending Electroacoustic journey driven by a customized MakeNoise modular system and various objects, that utilized the FluCoMa toolset.

Awesome! 🙌 For those unfamiliar with this gear he’s basically opening valves on a hi-tec ghost trap like out of Ghostbusters and releasing the sonic souls of a load of gremlins and whatnot that clog up his sound pipes. This helps keep his equipment running smoothly and he has to do this once a week.

This was the realm of electronic music that got me into it all as a little kid back in the 70s, sat cross legged on the floor with gigantic headphones plugged into my cheap knock-off TEAC record deck. Highly experimental compositions that skittered and chirruped, scratched, glitched and acid belched their way out of the warp and into real space, like the digestive folding of proteins in a mad old god's cosmic guts. Wonderful stuff Richard.

I’m lucky if I can get 5-10 seconds of recorded “moments” like Richard’s in any of my chaos patches. Feedback wiggling and harnessing is so fun. You rode your patched systems to cosmic corners again, RD. Will definitely listen and wonder at this again.

Does anyone know which module performs the rectal examination of the human subject? All the other extra-terrestrial functions are quite clearly demonstrated in this performance, I just can't quite make out the anal probe component. Otherwise, it was a flawless and beautiful performance. Very good indeed.
