Richard Marsh recounts the story of Ferdia's fight with Cú Chulainn which took place while Cú Chulainn was defending Ulster in Irish legend. He was forced into fighting single combat against his best friend Ferdia, and the three day fight that occurred is both poignant and stirring. The story is told at the Setanta Centre off Nassau St where a wonderful large mural by Desmond Kinney depicts several scenes from the life of Cú Chulainn. Richard Marsh is a brilliant storyteller who tells many tales of irish and Basque legend. He can often be found telling stories at Yarnspinners and Milk & Cookies in Dublin.
