Great angle for learning the one handed backhand & one of the best one handed backhand forms imo.

So beautiful it’s simply insane. His wrist is “open” when hitting his topspin backhand, pretty much the same thing needed for the so called “modern forehand”. Insanely awesome

His racquet drop is really the key to the beauty of his swing. The racquet sliiiides down behind him, then he uncoils into the.contact point as if he were drawing a sword.

"Drawing the sword" is a nice swing thought! My coach recommended it for feeling an inside-out backhand, but your comment reminded me of it and inspired me to want to try it out next session

Super slow mo reveals how Gasquet keeps his head still long after contact like RF. BH is thing of beauty.

Comment peut-on posséder un revers aussi excellent et en même temps avoir un coup droit aussi moisi ?

hmm, does he run around his forehand to hit a backhand??
@dannymalone86984 жыл бұрын
why oh why did he never figure out a way to make his forehand as graceful as his most-graceful-in pro-tennis-backhand???

interesting. it looks like he changed his take back from a video i watched from 8 years ago. He used to keep the racket closer to the chin.
