In my opinion, the best thing about "pen behind the ear" is the soundtrack - does anyone know who scored it?

I think Tim writes and records all his own show music.

Saw a young comedian doing pun based comedy (she even mentioned she wanted to be the new Tim Vine) but most of her material didnt work. I'm not sure what the difference is between replacing a word with another word that sounds similar and actually making a pun based joke that works but its obviously not as easy as Tim (or Milton) make it look.

Milton Jones co-opted that joke but made it work. 'My Grandfather called me over to him on his death bed and he said to me 'You selfish boy' . And so I became, a fish monger.'

I'm sure he did become a fishmonger, I don't go to his shop, I never get what I pay for because he's always Missed a Herring.

The ‘pen behind the ear’ routine is very redious. Not surprising Herring likes it!
