Sir, you are correct. I grew up in a musician's world as my father was a famous guitarist in Country western swing. I know how it is a life of "feast or famine" and in those days, there was a record contract that was the bread & butter of your financial career, that was crowned off with live performances. Now, there are no record contracts and very little money for any musician. This is why we see very old musicians having to take to the road and tour again as everyone just downloads their music for "free". I am old, but I still refuse to "download" any music and just go to the musician's site and order an old fashioned CD. At least I know they are getting the money.

Well, CD's are hardly sold, so if he is managed well he'gets some money from his streams and views. That's better than zero; concerts are where the money is anyway.
