Freedom of speech is being attacked in a major way. All of this is to make people afraid to speak their minds. You Bury Truth by taking away people's freedom to speak. The part of the conversation that Khan spoke on about the hate is the “REAL” reason all of this is happening. People don’t listen nor pay attention to what’s really going on. The backlash is because Dave talked about walking away from $50 mil and how HBO wouldn’t give him a meeting to pitch Chappell Show. Then turn around and want to add The Chappell show to their network line up. Chappell appealed to his fans about this hypocrisy and their audacity and his fans responded by supporting his request. That is power and that’s what “they” don’t like. So now they’re attempting to create a narrative that he is against transgender people. This is NOT what it is. The one young lady who went out of her way to say that the jokes on Dave’s special weren’t great has been subtly bashing this special for weeks… Idk if that’s her true feelings or she doesn’t understand that “The Closer” was more of a Civil/Human Rights Speech that included jokes… Our freedom of speech is under attack we have to look past who’s offended and as comedians this panel should understand that more than anyone…. The Closer was more of a historic speech disguised as a ‘comedy’ special….

I kept seeing notice of this interview with Pryor's bodyguard and I questioned the relevance of his take on Chappelle. Glad that I stopped to listen... He is on point. WHO & WHY? He challenged us to move beyond the surface and probe those questions. The Community, as I affectionately reference the LGBTQ community, has longstanding issues within and still, so many years later, they react strongly, negatively, when they get called out for racist and discriminatory behavior specifically aimed at Black people, while simultaneously standing on the shoulders of Black folks benefitting from civil rights fought for and gained by us. They were not able to cancel or shut up Richard Pryor. They will not silence or cancel Dave Chappelle. Thank you for insight and context Mr. Khan. Mad at Dave? Process your anger, set it aside. Go back and watch the special again this time with paper and pen. Hear him and parse what he actually said. He didn't lie or call for harm to anyone. Call it #freedomofspeech May it reign...

When you have a bodyguard that does any type of interview discussing any celebrity, you SHOULD LISTEN because they were or are around them & have a rapport with that person as if they're a friend of the family or a member of their family as well as spend an ENORMOUS amount of time with them; So they have the credibility to say A LOT about what their experiences were with them & give actual accounts of incidents that have happened in the past.
