Due to Jim Crow, non-whites had to exit any whites-only space through a separate entrance, which was usually an act of humiliation to emphasize their supposed inferiority. Ego on the verge of laugh when the ukulele came out. Also are those the real lyrics to the song??

Yep, thems the lyrics. I wanna say the 80s were a wild time in pop (so much coke) but the song’s from 2009…

I heard (but can't confirm) that when they pull away like that at the end it indicates that they posted the dress rehearsal footage instead of the live show. If the live show doesn't go as well, then they switch. Here's a terrific one featuring Cecily Strong and Chance the Rapper: kzbin.info/www/bejne/p5zGaXavqtR6oNE

I just realized Andrew wasn't actually playing the ukulele and it was probably prerecorded. Sounded believable

Andrew is cute in this sketch! He seems to be coming into his own skin on SNL. I know the song was suppose to be funny but his vocals are really fabulous. He could easily have a career as a singer or on Broadway. I think he was purposely trying to get Ego to crack up. lol. Need a part 2! ❤
