Absolutely the best fisherman on KZbin! I love crappie fishing, and am burnt out on the constant Livescope videos (I have livescope and can catch crappie every time I go fishing). Richard, thank you for teaching me how to fish, not how to look at my own screen.

Absolutely the best crappie video I've ever found on here and I fish a lot I don't have a boat but I've learned so much in two weeks or so that is killing me we got ice all over my best fishing spots I'm learning new spots new techniques how much new knowledge just in general I wish I'd have known this guy or I would have been around when he was on 20 years ago if he was he's incredible plus she's down-to-earth and he's just our kind of people I get so nervous now with the ice all over that I'm starting to act like Richard oh my goodness

This is my favorite fishing channel!!!! DO NOT WORRY ABOUT GETTING EXCITED ABOUT A NEW GOOD LURE! WE LOVE YOUR PASSION!!!!!!!! You are the most passionate fisherman on KZbin!!!!! Love the Altro too! I was a crappie and bass guide. In Washington state the lake I guided on has Tons of crappie. in the fall I average 800 crappie a day and one out of ten is over 9 inches. My biggest was over three pounds. i have landed over 200 crappies over a 1.5 pounds in a few hours. My biggest Northern strain large mouth is 9 pounds. my biggest smallmouth is 6.5 pound small mouth My best trout day was two 8 pound trout in one day. My best smallmouth bass day is 120 smallmouth in one day with a two pound average with FEW of four pounders AND EVEN MORE THREE POUNDERS. I just converted a cargo van into a tiny home on wheels with full solar, So I can fish as much as I can over the next 5 to 7 years all over western north America! Roger The ExBassGuide

I love using vintage gear, I just restored a 1951 Shakespeare Direct Drive No. 1924 on my channel and unfortunately we are frozen up here so I can’t go test it until spring but it’s smooth as can be, I’ve also restored which on these old reels is mostly a cleaning and an oil a 1946 wonder reel, 1955 I believe glasscaster that has caught my biggest largemouth yet and a few other old Shakespeare and Pflueger reels from the 50s and an Abu Ambassadeur from 62 that started it all. Amazing how well they work, I also like to use those old Heddon lures that work amazingly well. Thanks for the content Mr. Gene and Fish On my friend.

When I was a young man they were called Wee-Willys at our local bait shop. One of their customers made them came wrapped on a stiff piece of paper. 3 foot long 2lb. test leader with a loop knot on both ends. We would fish them below a bobber and retrieve very slowly. They would flat out catch all pan fish along with smaller bass.
