Those road runner jig heads are great and if you put a 2" Berkley gulp shad with the scent they are even more deadly. I've caught many nice crappie and even bass and catfish with those two together over the years.🙂🎄🎣

I have probably been here a week listening and watching and there is no other site like this I've learnt so much it's kind of scary. 1st of February here in Kansas and right now we are iced at the Lakes. At 71 I don't do ice. I tell everyone that wants to know where I get my information. Its killin me I'm acting like Richard when he ends his videos. My pole selection will change, I've moved to 4lb. Hey Zach Use 4 pound mono and try natural colored jigs like "monkey milk" 👍 Look for the crappie around 10 to 15 feet down when the water is 50'ish. (RGTFM is on point with his advice)

The weather & temps have been crazy here in GA too, but I finally just figured out how to catch them.... 4 pound test line at 10 to 15 feet down. RG has been preaching about 4 lb and 2 lb test for a long time so I tried it and it's unbelievable how well it works!!! 💪

I’ve tied my own soft bodied crappie jigs and use the method and the same glue. Works great . The jig bodies last longer too. Man I gotta get fishing for some of those “little fart sniffers” 😂
