Even I know you do not block the emergency ladder and I am a true landlubber! The refurbished path is looking good and your filming location provides you with a good view of both the approaching boats and as they pass under the bridge. No doubt when the season starts you will not be able to film from there (unless you get hold of a tennis umpire's chair! 😂😂😂), Have great week.

Actually that’s not a bad idea! lol I’ll hire a cherry picker! Lol 😂

The season is underway, keep them coming, a great way to start the day for me watching one of your videos on the unaware stars of Ludham bridge.

My first holiday on the broads was in the 1960s and the boats have changed a lot since then, still mostly wooden hulls then, you only had hot water if the engine had been running, it would usually be cold by the morning, no shower, no fridge, you had a cooler box with ice packs to keep things cool which you exchanged at boat yards as often as you could, but worst of all the toilets used to pump straight over the side which tended to make fishing a bit unpleasant at times with all these nasty floaters bobbing past the boat, first thing in the morning was not a good time to get the fishing rod out. How times have changed !!

Usually find heading downstream ok but going up the Ant have struggled on occasion. Only walloped the bridge once though (and it was our 5th or 6th time on the Broads, not our first!).

Hi John. It was great to meet you on Saturday (famous KZbin er, ) 😅 and Milly and Kevin. I always love seeing Broads sunray 2 as that was the first boat we hired for a family holiday in 2020. lovely little boat. Wish you all the best with future videos. I will watch as I have in the past while walking the dog 🐕. Cheers. Dave. ( not kevin) 😂

Thank you Jonny for another video, it looks peaceful, beautiful and cold, I just looked up the temperature for Norfolk and it’s 4 degrees Celsius. I have just woken up and found your video, it’s just after 7:30am and 18 degrees Celsius, cloudy and going to 23 degrees. Quite a relief as we have hit over 40 degrees in the last few days. It’s great to see more boats out but you definitely would need the heater on to make it cosy inside. However, this would be a perfect time to be able to stop outside any pub for lunch or dinner without the hassles of summertime crowds. Enough about the weather and temperatures it makes me sound English. Have an enjoyable week, all the best from Sydney Australia 🇦🇺

The yacht demasting posts look mighty fine but will motor hires take any notice. I also like the look of Broadway but it is out of my price range. I hope you are keeping Millie warm . Didn't get a chance to come down and say hello was too busy settling into our holiday cottage, maybe next time.

What's the score with the green and white mooring posts and paint markers out to the water's edge? Haven't picked up on them before.
@Malco18057 ай бұрын
Mooring spaces there are reserved for yachts demasting to negotiate the bridge. Unfortunately, these tend to get ignored when the rivers are busy.
