The secret to a podcast is to have on-air staff who will cackle hysterically at every joke.

Andy Richter is a likeable person who is pretty ordinary but I think the podcast will turn out well. He's never been the funniest guy, though you can usually tell when he's trying to be funny, but I think this will possibly bring out the best in him.

Met him and his family at a charity event and he was hilarious and could not have been any nicer.

Will? You realize this podcast has been going for years, which he mentions in this very clip.

Disagree with this. I find Andy extraordinarily quick, smart, and well timed. His mind comes up with valuable and perfect observations on the spot. He supports the show, and then comes in and spikes a joke at the perfect time. I've seen him take great exchanges between Conan and the guest and then add a line that absolutely crushes, regularly, when it fits. He doesn't have to try, he reacts perfectly and tactfully.

Dude is well beyond "thick." He's aways been a big guy, but that's looking like "morbidly obese" territory. It's unfortunate.
