I have endured years of suffering… all I want is the best for this team, but with that being said Wilson is a BEAST and I want the best for him as a person so he can spread his wings and flourish in the right system. The Aaron Rodgers’ iteration of the New York Jets have wasted two years of his youth, and unfortunately have not used him properly. Frankly, the Saleh/Zach Wilson system last year was better for G. Wilson. If we only kept Darnold and focused our draft and trade player selection on non-QB positions with Darnold as the quarterback. Tom Brady must be somewhere LHAO. His stint with Tampa, including the SB at 43, confused everybody because people *still* couldn’t understand how different he was (in terms of talent, hard work/obsessiveness, and being protected by the league). Late 30s is THE END for mortal QBs. Mid-30s for most. Rodgers was flashy and good at his peak, but that was many years ago. And he’s no Tom Brady, on any dimension. Any exec or coach near the decision to sign him should be gone. Obvious insanity.

Tampa was also better on both sides of the ball

Brady is the first in last out. He cares more about winning than he does his own family. He would never screw off to Egypt during training camp. He was built 100% to win football games.
@greggorsag9787Ай бұрын
@@stevenburrito7032 100%. As a Steeler fan, I rooted against him during his playing days, and gloried in Eli taking him down twice. But to be fair, he is the G.O.A.T. QB, and the thing you cite about him was obvious from the start. What I don’t get is how teams can look at every conceivable bit of data on recruits or free agents and not for the personality/character thing. E.g., Rodgers. There was no way that could ever have worked out. He’s lazy, distracted, and full of himself. You can get past that at 27 with talent sometimes, but *never* at 39.

I think you're overreacting to the interview question. What I heard was the reporter asking "How do you assess Rodgers performance today?" And his answer was he has to go back and watch the tape to really make a determination on how good or bad his play truly was. I don't think that's qualifies as him not being able to make a decision at benching Rodgers. Unless I am missing a key part of the interview, that seems pretty benign.

Seahawks fan since 1983 - Seattle DID NOT "win" that game. The Jets lost that game. Seattle did everything they could (except for Big Cat) to lose it and won despite themselves. They couldn't run it, O line continues to be a serious problem (although pass pro was better) special teams were atrocious and Geno really struggled with close coverages from Jets defensive backs.
@atg1338Ай бұрын
Actually they did win the game with a great 2nd half DUH... stick to watching the view son
@jasonsheath3294Ай бұрын
K9 averaged 3 yards per carry. Not sustainable when you are playing the top tier playoff teams. The O Line issues are the ongoing story of the year - whether its poor run blocking or failing to give Geno a clean pocket to operate the offense - the O line improved some pass pro in this game but if you watched it "son" you would have noticed the consistent penetration off the snap by the Jets D Line into the Hawks backfield on almost every snap- how many snaps did the Hawks take and fail to score from the 5 yard line or 1/2 yard line? How many times were they saved by the refs flags? Don't be ridiculous. The defence is really starting to play better especially at LB which was sorely needed which is taking some of the pressure off the offence which is necessary. But you cannot win playoff football with 46 rushing yards for your RB1. That is not on K9 - its on the O line.

The moment rodgers started talking all this alternative med and would just ramble on with the pat mcafee show i knew he was completely not there mentally and i had a hunch he wouldnt be there physically either with how high his age is and just looking at him man. I thought at best theyd get a good year out of him but here we are after that time period and he is exactly what i thought he would be. Washed up, old, and sad. I can hear the arguments now that i have seen thrown around "his team is struggling it isnt just him", "he is on the jets, what more can you expect", "you try doing what he is doing at that age?" And i will dismantle yall fast. Every team struggles through injuries, coaching turnover or bad coaching withstanding through a season, trades onset by drama or financial woes. Stop acting like no other team struggles and manages to do better than the sorry sack of shi dressed in green sacs. He is on the jets you say? Every other analyst sat there in spute of that and still picked them to win the afc east. From the random analyst adams types on tiktok to stephen A, everyone looked past the jets woes and picked them anyways. Now that theyre struggling we want to double back? I dont need to imagine being aaron rodgers because i dont need to live in fantasy land to make a compelling argument. Im lookong at the results and the results are pathetic

If you go back to just over a year ago you can find videos on this channel when Rich talks about Rodgers making the Jets a contender. He made the same assumption the decision makers did, which was that the last season of Rodgers in Green Bay was bad because of off the field issues when in reality his play was bad as well. The only difference is that Rich just celebrated the move, he didn't made the decision... Even without the Aaron side show, this wasn't going to work. Aaron was past his prime. Just because Brady still looked good in his 40s doesn't mean anyone can do it. Rodgers numbers this season look very similar to his last in GB. This is probably what he would've looked like if he stayed healthy last year.
