To be fair, the Jets' defense gave away a shedload of penalties. The Seahawks D stepped up and neutralised the Jets' O. This is not all on Rodgers, the coaching stinks.
@atg133823 сағат бұрын
Who tossed the pick six? What offense didn't score in the 2nd half? Who had 39 passes and still couldn't hit 200 yards? Not like they gave up 35 points. Rodgers is totally to blame duh
@markkostka68975 сағат бұрын
"The Jets offense showed up in the 1st quarter. There it is". They scored 1 TD on their own. 2nd TD started on the 27 yard line of the Seahawks after a fumble. 3rd and final TD was a Jets runback by special teams. 1 TD from the offense without getting the ball deep in opponent territory is good but nothing great. Offense still stinks.
@ChromeCW2 сағат бұрын
Also, the first drive/TD the Jets had was aided by a Facemask on a Leonard Williams Sack/Stop that directly extended that drive.

To be fair to Rodgers, he's coming off a rough injury, and doesn't look himself in the legs department. Further, firing the coach as early as they did, was a huge mistake. It has completely undermined the team as a whole. Is Rodgers over the hill? Maybe. I'm not positive though. I'd like to see what he looks like after another off season of recovery, and on a better team. I think he can be a just fine game manager with a good defense and win you a lot of games. Not as a Jet though. The Jets organization is clearly garbage.

I literally knew this would happen before he even blew out his Achilles on the 4th play of the season. I knew it would happen when he skipped OTAs to go trip balls at Bonnaroo right after he got done saying how important attending OTAs was as a new player on the team.

I think you're overreacting to the interview question. What I heard was the reporter asking "How do you assess Rodgers performance today?" And his answer was he has to go back and watch the tape to really make a determination on how good or bad his play truly was. I don't think that's qualifies as him not being able to make a decision at benching Rodgers. Unless I am missing a key part of the interview, that seems pretty benign.

Also i just want to go on record; i knew this would flop. As a bills fan i was not worried for a second. The moment rodgers started talking all this alternative med and would just ramble on with the pat mcafee show i knew he was completely not there mentally and i had a hunch he wouldnt be there physically either with how high his age is and just looking at him man. I thought at best theyd get a good year out of him but here we are after that time period and he is exactly what i thought he would be. Washed up, old, and sad. I can hear the arguments now that i have seen thrown around "his team is struggling it isnt just him", "he is on the jets, what more can you expect", "you try doing what he is doing at that age?" And i will dismantle yall fast. Every team struggles through injuries, coaching turnover or bad coaching withstanding through a season, trades onset by drama or financial woes. Stop acting like no other team struggles and manages to do better than the sorry sack of shi dressed in green sacs. He is on the jets you say? Every other analyst sat there in spute of that and still picked them to win the afc east. From the random analyst adams types on tiktok to stephen A, everyone looked past the jets woes and picked them anyways. Now that theyre struggling we want to double back? I dont need to imagine being aaron rodgers because i dont need to live in fantasy land to make a compelling argument. Im lookong at the results and the results are pathetic
