Growing up in Detroit I feel lucky to catch Richie early in his career and watch how far he’s come. One thing I can say is he has always been pushing the technology and he’s been thinking about how to play this way even when no would ever think about not using turntables!!!!!

I also try to use Traktor and Ableton together. On 11:50 he shows both programs, and is talking about how he doesn't sync the two programs together. On this screen i see he has both programs locked on 126bmp. Even when i do sync the two programs together it only changes the BPM on both programs. That still doesn't mean that the beat is synced, because i can temporarily slow down the Traktor track, In this case the speed of both tracks is still the same, but the beat is isn't on the same time. So how does this limit me?

Didn't know about Duet Display... I tried the same thing with "Splashtop Extended Wireless Display", which does work, but barely... Good to know! I don't like that you have to connect it via USB, though... The whole beauty of it would be a wireless connection... Especially since the USB port of the iPad (3) sucks so much, the cable just constantly gets disconnected...

Thanks! looks really fun :) So bizar that you can "hear" sub tones by feeling the vibrations! (..if that is how it works)
@aljowen9 жыл бұрын
Ming Sin Ho There are also some other brands which do similar but different things. For example there is the ButtKicker stuff which is intended for more permanent installations. But you can put one on your couch and have it shake the whole thing if you get the correct setup. Or the gamer model will just shake your office chair etc.
