What I like about you is you go there and you never come across as an auditor, you give them a completely legitimate reason for your presence & you’re friendly offering your first name but they still give you the same aggressive paranoid approach which completely contradicts their stance that they react negatively to auditors because they’re only there to provoke a reaction.

Its clear numpty here has not read the memo. So I’ll repeat it here for him to read. 1. There are no powers prohibiting the taking of photographs, film or digital images in a public place. Therefore, members of the public and press should not be prevented from doing so. 2.We need cooperation with the media and amateur photographers. They play a vital role as their images help us identify criminals. 3. We must acknowledge that citizen journalism is a feature of modern life and police officers are now photographed and filmed more than ever. 4. Unnecessarily restricting photography, whether for the casual tourist or professional is unacceptable and it undermines public confidence in the police service.

@TheSadButMadLad2 жыл бұрын
8:20 Yes it is unreasonable for the police to ask for someone's ID if all they are doing is taking pictures. They say its about security, but in a yard which has no fence or gate, the point about security is moot. And further, police have to follow the law which controls them as much as the law controls the public's activities. And the law does not give them authority to get someone's ID if they haven't been arrested (with a couple of exceptions). The police have got away with gaslighting the public and hiding their processes from the public so that they can get away with murder (sometimes literally). Not anymore.

And them thinking that they you should because it's normal social interaction shows how wrong they are. First it's never a normal social interaction, the police will always question and never have a chat about the weather. Second dismissing the upholding of a right means they don't think the public should have rights and that the police will issue people with orders about what they can and cannot do.

5:40 What he does is question people like you. As in people who use a camera. This is a sign that using a camera is like the first step to be a terrorist. It's already been stated by the police that the non-crime hate incidents where they question people's "thinking" about tweets is seen as the first step on a five step route to genocide. So the police obviously think a camera is the first step on a five step route to terrorism and mass murder. So in their mind, they are doing the right thing in protecting the public by stopping such deviants as free speech activists and civil rights activists. The problem is anybody who thinks they are doing the right thing and therefore their actions are moral and ethical is always the fascist tyrant.
