I originally started watching this channel because you took two broken cars and made one good, working car. I love making something out of, what would be, nothing to others. Plus you did it on a TESLA which no one really dared venture in trying to repair, and now there is the Electrified Garage, you helped push TESLA into releasing info on their cars to fix them, which I was able to do on my own Model S thanks to a large part from you, and now we have this awesome automotive channel with type of humor I dig that is a bit dirty, sarcastic, and silly. I like seeing all the different projects you have done on the channel, so just keep doing it the way it makes sense to you. We see you guys having fun in the videos and that makes each one worth watching for us. Thank you!

I've been watching you for a long time, since Car Guru. I think the biggest change in your channel has been you show building a lot less. That's really what I like to watch and got me into your channel. The chemistry between characters while working together on a project is the essence of what brought me here. Don't get me wrong, I find your other content entertaining too, just not as much as the building. I think that might be part of your viewership issue, at least somewhat.

Yep the wild builds and skits are what kept me here not the Tesla content, that van build was pretty awesome, and I was actually looking forward to the electric corvette. So many cheap C4s out there, if they were to make an electric one and have the electric garage do installs for a reasonable price that's a new income stream! They've been hidden gems for years. Great vehicles and as a long as your ready for gas prices to continue going up they're great vehicles. I like that this channel is "real" ... the projects are usually very involved, and you actually _make_ stuff. So many channels are just "parts swapping channels". That gets old really quickly. So I wouldn't expect a new "from scrap to working, finished result" every video - that would be impractical. A key member of the team is down too. So I'm happy to see the updates. Great to see Leenda make an appearance. And the Electrified Garage crew. All the best and greetings from Prague, CZ

Dude, that vid was kind of light on Sequoia content. That being said, I love my ‘13 Platinum which has almost 240k on it. I’ve put about 125k on it and done front and rear brakes once. A fuel pump, a water pump, oil changes every 5k, plugs, regular and winter tires, and regular fluid services and a windshield. I’ve also done the headlight lens repair which worked beautifully. Just do the maintenance and it will do you right. That thing just goes!

My dad has a 2018 sequoia, and I have a 2008 LX. WAY more room in the sequoia. Everything fold flat in that and the 3rd row is way more comfortable for long travel. I do agree though, 3rd Gen sequoia is a downgrade from the second. The 1st Gen is awesome, but the 2nd Gen has way more space with the independent rear suspension. That all said, if your friend doesn’t need seating for 7-8 people, the 200 series is freaking amazing.

It's great, and has never had any engine or transmission problems. stock copper plugs lasted 250k miles, diffs never got fluid replaced, trans had about a cup drained when I replaced the radiator after overheating it due to not fixing a small leak. the only regular maintenance it gets is engine oil.

Down grading to a civic here and there reminds people you're not where you are because of the fancy cars. I'm looking to buy a Honda Elite scooter to really remind people.

I would love to own one. Biggest con is the gas mileage tho. It’s a nice suv though.

Have an FJ. Before thar, I had a Sequoia. Before that, a Tundra, and Before that, a 97 Cherokee Sport lol. I'm a Toyota guy. Hell half my family owns Toyotas. They're just well made. I had an 05 Sequoia, and tbh, I kind of miss it. It had so much damn room!. My only complaint was that the offroad aftermarket was lacking

Love the Sequoia. But my biggest surprise of the summer: Ranted a GMC Denali for a road trip with 6 people plus luggage. 20-22mpg almost all freeway. We couldn't believe it!

A very common issue for the UR engines (4.6L, 5.0L and 5.7L) in the Toyotas/Lexus is the engine valley plate. The plate that is in the V of the engine leak coolant from failed sealant.

@@SalemTechsperts While Toyotas don’t have many issues in general, the valley plate issue is VERY common on the UR engines- I stand by my statement. I had a 2UR engine in my ISF, and the many community groups I’m in are constantly having to get this repaired. It’s not a catastrophic failure, but it’s a fairly long and sometimes expensive job. Clips break, main wire loom protector breaks, sometimes the fuel injectors break too. Coolant starts to leak usually over the transmission bell housing and you can sometimes see stains on the transmission. You’ll also notice your coolant level is low, puddles down near the intake manifold, and sometimes your heat won’t work inside the car because air got in the lines due to low coolant.

Other than your sense of humor, I liked to watch your reviews of things I do not have exposure to (EVs). It was refreshing to see that you would be honest about it, instead of some paid off talking head. The problem with a hellcat vid is.....as you said.....there are a million of them. Other than your humor......your vid is no different than anyone elses. Keep doing things that only YOU do.

As a fellow Mass native, wearing the same crocks as you had, Toyota/ Lexus are great and super easy to work on. I have a GX470 and only gripe is that the radio does not work for like a week after it rains…. Good choice on the 4x4 mini van, I haven’t looked back after crashing my S6 into a tree lol
