This is the design that I intended to do it. because such an expensive yard I make sure it has to be done right. first of all how many changes to start with bedspread I am making. Certainly! It would be interesting to see the colour changes. The stitch does use quite a bit of yarn, and I would play with the dimensions as the length grows quickly

are you crocheting from the back side or does it matter

When I work into the foundation chain I do work in the back bumps. I’m not sure if it matters a whole lot, I just like the finished look and is easier to work in if working an edging at the end :)
