Also there's a difference between being nice to fans when they approach you and pausing your broadcast/going afk mid match, just to say hello to some random fan who happens to deliver you mail. His wife saw my brother leave a note saying he was a fan and started to leave. She opened the door read the note and asked if he wanted to meet Tim. It was very cool of her to see that then make the offer and it was also very cool of him to step away from his career, a livestream of 10s of thousands of people, to take a pic with a fan he very well could have shaded(so could she). Entertainers might owe their success to fans as an abstract concept but nobody is entitled to anyone else's time or effort and they both went beyond the industry standard.

pretty sure he grinded his ass off for years to get there tho. also you can't deny the fact that he is incredibly talented as an entertainer. that's quite rare, at least to this extent, which makes it valuable, simple as that. credit where credit's due. i'm not a fanboy either, but you gotta respect, that his success is mainly built on talent/skill and work. sure there's always some luck involved, his timing was pretty good, i guess, but that's about it.
