Fun fact: “Edge of Tomorrow” is based off a Japanese Light Novel/Manga titled “All You Need Is Kill”, which ties to Jerry saying he doesn’t want anymore anime things happening to Morty. The way Jerry says Akira and anime were also funny.

The thing with the Death Crystals: Rick used them, to make sure his death isn't fixed, while Morty tried to create a fixed Death. So if you use them permanetly, and don't care about "i COULD die this and that that" and just focus on "i WILL die to this", there shouldn't be such a huge problem

You'd obviously use it when you're in a Life&Death situation, but you're still forgetting one thing. It has to be used in situations that has "simple" instructions/directions, but more importantly in situations where you have actually time to both decipher the death, think/brainstorm certain actions that can make you avoid it annnnd having enough time to try somehow try it out in some way or like find a method to test if a certain action will do the trick.

The ending discussion about Aaron's redhead death got me thinking. What if they were onto something in that the crystal will show you how you die normally, but once you start tying to force it, like Morty, it becomes a monkeys paw situation. Then you'd end up with that death but it'd be way different than you wanted.

I think you guys missed the plot twist- Morty had turned Jessica down to pursue the death he had where old Jessica held him - only to find Jessica wants to work in a care home offering her love to dying patients. He was merely her next terminal patient to comfort , they were never together.

A few tidbits of info you guys may not have known. At the end of each episode since the beginning of season 1 after the end credit scenes, they show a quick little clay mold of a guy... And you hear a distinct voice say "Did you get any of that?". That is actually the voice of Dan Harmon (Co-creator of Rick & Morty). In each clay mold, it's of a man sitting on a couch with a woman. That clay mold is an interpretation of him and his wife.. after about season 2, going on season 3, the clay molds change, with him doing something very different. You'll notice one where the clay man mold is laying on the couch by itself, slumped over like a drunk person holding a bottle of beer... He was going through a divorce, or some type of seperation... Each one clay mold over time was representing something going on in his life, lol. Another reason for season 4 taking so long to come back was that Time Warner (which owns Cartoon Network/Adult Swim) didn't know how to monetize from the success of Rick and Morty. They had no contractual rights to merchants or merchandizing, and lost a lot money that could have been made. So, they had to figure out how they could work all that out, so, that no company could make and profit 100% off of the show's success without kicking some of that back to CN, and the creators of the show. So, Time Warner purposely signed for 70 more episodes (10 per session). And will try to shorten the length of time in each season's breaks.

Blind Wave, while this episode may have been inspired by Edge of Tomorrow, the mechanism whereby Rick's clones are reborn is more reminiscent of how the Eternal Emperor does it in the Sten Adventures (a great sci-fi series from the 1980's written by Chris Bunch & Allan Cole).

I felt bad for Fascist Morty, whenever you see a glimpse through his programming you can tell he’s just a regular Morty, pretty sure he wasn’t a full blown Evil Morty. On a side note, with the way Morty has been becoming more and more assertive and independent, but also rebellious I wonder sometimes if all Mortys eventually become Evil Mortys due to Rick’s influence but we’ve only just seen the one so far, perhaps due to more extreme circumstances in his early life.

This felt like they were lampooning their audience. The 'fascist' Marty thought his Rick was 'too political'...yet all he wanted was old-school adventures. When 'our' Rick wanted to do something else, F-Morty flipped out (like some of the fans). Obviously the 'we'll do new AND old stuff from now on!' part at the end was letting the fans know to chill the fuck out about it. Heck, even Summer's part at the end might be their response to certain 'fan fiction' writers who ship Morty with Rick!
