True for mdma i have a friend who was so depressed she didnt have boyfriend ,didnt go out,was unhappy with work life in general, one day we went to the party and she tried mdma ,next day she was different person, she was relaxed, happier. Then month later she found boyfriend on one of those parties(talking about psychedelic trance parties),year ago she txt me that she is married and got a baby with that guy she meet on that party, she is super happy and have a family, good life,i just found it weird how mdma changed her life on better.

Very necessary work you are doing to use your platform to bring disruption to a failing mental health system. One of your best that I have heard in a while

I just made another small donation based on this. I also wish I had heard this interview before I read Acid Test, which prompted me to attempt MDMA therapy. The first therapist led to the first time I blacked out and I retraumatized myself when he distanced himself from me when all kinds of things came up. The second therapist escalated a sexual relationship during the session. The last five years have been at 400% higher pain levels than anything I experienced before and I found it amazing that I did not hear anything about either of these scenarios in Acid Test, even though I followed the 6 hour protocol with headphones, music, intention and two professionals. I have not been able to find anyone to work with since that time, given the anger and distrust I have for therapists, and the PTSD that developed around working with therapists with substances. Similar to the suicide story in this podcast, the biggest crisis is: "How can I trust myself to move or seek healing when the same algorithm that led to two escalating traumas with therapists must be presumed to be operating today. It is paralyzing terror and loneliness and I really wish I could connect with a single competent person who gets it and takes it at the seriousness that every life deserves. Dane

This is a great cause, there's no valid excuse for why some of these substances are demonised around the world. The science is in and has been for a long time (ask Professor David Nutt). The sooner MDMA and psychedelics can be regulated and used responsibly, the better!

... Regarding cross species effects, it is now known that cows eat Magic mushrooms, often psilocybin cubensis, which grows on their own cow pies. this likely contributes to cows being so calm and well-adjusted.

It'd be great to focus a bit on 84 and see who had the most muscle to criminalize it considering all the harm and havoc it created.

A company? Why not the MAPS organization itself, or do like I did and just order merchandise. What they make from those sales also helps fund (keep together & provide momentum).

I thought the same after first hearing of MAPS and quickly donating back in 2019.. However, I just saw an advert from a major health care company on FB, asking the question "Could magic mushrooms lead to therapy for the mind>?. It's time for all that realize what a godsend these substances can be , to start (responsively) spreading the word via so-media.

I think it's great that MAPS exists, but this hasn't done a thing for PTSD yet. People are backing this organization and they haven't done shit yet. Rick is probably making around $150k a year doing research. Maybe the money that's being spent on research should just be spent decriminalizing MDMA for recreational use.
