Rick Springfield is as nice a person as his fans hope he is. Over a span of 20 years I had the priviledge of managing the backstage area at a festival where Rick played twice. Of all the artists and crews I worked with over the years Rick, his manager, road crew and band were always the kindest, least demanding and grateful folks I worked with. It didn't matter what position the individual held, he and his team treated everyone with grace and gratitude. The bonus for the festival was his amazing interaction with his VERY devoted fan base - the man is the definition of a ROCK STAR

I met Rick briefly back around '03-04 while I was doing EMS at one of his concerts. He talked with me during his sound check, just me and him in the amphitheater, warming up with Jessie's Girl, and talking between versus. Really nice guy.

Great to see these guys kind of bittersweet at the same time everybody getting old I seen Sammy live with Van Halen the first year of them together here in Kansas City in 1986, it's kind of cool because there is a couple videos on KZbin from that concert that somebody had recorded on a VHS recorder I assume and just knowing I was in that audience it's kind of neat to see that all these years later anyway I can go on and on LOL take care

Great show guys! Both of these ‘boys,’ are in their 70s!!!! Unbelievable. THEY LOOK GREAT! I’d love to know HOW they stay so vibrant. The lucky ppl will grow old, but these 2 made an art of it! I think all of the years of loud PAs had to damage their hearing and noticed Rick may have had hearing aids … I wish our heroes would talk about aging and the issues that come with it.
