Thank you so much for this remarkable presentation by Rick Tarnas. I first heard Stan Grof and Richard Tarnas present in 1990 at the ISAR Conference. It was a pivot point in my life and led to work with the Spiritual Emergence Network and so much more. I so appreciated the connection to seeing the current planetary birth canal process and our psychic location between BPM 3 Pluto to BPM 4 Uranus. Yes? Thank you!

Hey, Matt. Have you ever thought of doing some videos on the works of Sloterdijk or any other lesser-known German philosophers like Gernot Bohme? That I'd pay for :)

Thank you for such a lovely discussion. Could we get the links shared in the live chat? The Intelligence squared in particular. (PCC ‘03)
Dylan not only called for the interpellation, with "something's happening here, what it is ain't exactly clear" he also offered a path to apprehending it, "the answer my friends is blowing in the wind". You must, as the Scorpions elucidated, "Follow the Moskva Down to Gorky Park Listening to the wind of change"

On the danger of potential corporate misuse of psychedelics when made legal: "the greatest preventative measure is depth of transformation by those who would be attempting to use psychedelics" 🙌🏻 They shouldn't be allowed to sell it unless they've experienced it.

Culture seems to assign efficacy of knowledge to who is delivering the knowledge rather than the knowledge itself being efficacious. The knowledge itself can form an object, a pool that mirrors homo sapiens' creative efforts, and can also be a funhouse mirror that warps relational perspectives. I think the loss of efficiency of larger groups creates an efficient food system that produces bad food that affects and diminishes the individual human system. This enhances negative traits which means fear, which needs to assign a comforting identity for that person to grasp. The loss of thinking ability demands a simple world. The loss of muscle demands an "easy" way of achieving something, the actual doing (where the knowledge comes from) is diminished in favour of an ideal, easy power. Perhaps this is an effect from VOC's, and perhaps the grass family is not out for our best interests and might depress serotonin levels with the zein protein. In any case, when coupled with inefficiency of larger groups that tends to streamline sources of knowledge, a state of exception is enforced by the actions of those people who partake. Revolutions fail because the too-large group problem isn't addressed, the revolution is just a temporary readjustment of that relation of the individual to the world, and then the striving for more power means joining again in a unrestricted way which is okay, until going big leads to going bad. The system of the person and the system of culture doing a dance, apart from the dance of homo sapiens with life on the planet. The state of exception a painting oneself into a corner for both levels of human. Thanks for the video, Rick is awesome.
