We can only go so far with "Old School" discipline bcuz the government will call it assault...so here's the solution: Military Schools and Boot Camps 4 kids who need their freedom taken away without going to jail. Let every major city have 1 for disrespectful kids n teenagers n young adults below the age of 25yrs old n make sure they do at least 1 school year once signed in. This will literally change America and our Black kids life... 4 the better of course.

yelling at a child to scare the shit out of them is simply emotional abuse and that coming from a dad himself! The kid does not respect you, they fear you and that’s why the disobey👌 Moms can scream at their sons to and scare them before they hit their teens, there are moms beating their kids but that isn’t discipline it’s ABUSE! Kids can respect you without that! But that dad is still okay, I’m taking about the super aggressive parents

Everyone makes mistakes and turning 18 doesn’t make a person mentally or emotionally grown.. for example, imagine your son being a young woman instead, and someone watching what’s going on with her and how you handle it and them saying to themselves oh yes she will be 18 next month… just waiting for her to turn 18 so you can kick her out and relieve yourself. That sounds weird when you consider what’s waiting for them once you gladly get rid of them

I agree totally. when I was 5 I began to pick any small cash I saw around the house, i think mom suspected that I was stealing so she set a trap for me and left 5D(2cents in America) ,on her bed side table and I took it. When she came looking for me I put in my trousers n lied when she asked whether I took the money, when she eventually got the truth out of me...MY mom GAVE ME BEATINGS THAT I WILL Never FORGET but guess what? that was the last time I stole money or anything that wasn't mine. I'm Gambian(W.africa) but live in England but I come to America for holidays but it breaks my heart when I see children from the west how they talk back to their elders smh

@Alhamdulilah.5178 жыл бұрын
creolejoy. Yes it was change but its not amount of money that was important cz she really didn't care for it but it was about stopping a habit at a young age. If she didn't beat me for that I would have continued doing it till now and stealing large amount of money....also 5 may be young for others to discipline a child but I was 5 I was smart enough to hide the money Because I KNEW THAT IT WRONG and didn't want to get caught

I had a discussion with my fiancé about this last night. By the time our parents are old enough to have grandchildren, most of them are tired of disciplining children cause they've gone so hard in the paint on us for years. 18+ years of whipping ass, yelling, punishing, and speeches, and they are WORN OUT. They get soft and just want to enjoy your children without the extra bull. Especially if they had more than one child. Hell my dad had 7 children and I alone gave my mother hell at times, so I don't expect them to lay a finger on mines. They are tired. Then my fiancé had the nerve to say if I don't whip our daughters, he'll take them to his mom for one and she broke his heart lol. She was like, "BOY you crazy. I'm done with whoopings."
@iamyourgod.2490 Жыл бұрын
Well you handle the serious stuff like keeping your child/children well and let THEM handle the jordans and game systems. Let THEM stay in fun mode and you do what needs to be done in other areas. Cause taking your kid to the hospital and being concerned with materialistic things are 2 whole different things. You may not want to handle it alone but you also don’t have to since you e mentioned your parents presence. Let them be the good time and you be the long time lol
