I saw Monique in February of this year, and Lunell was there as well and killed it! Monique was the headliner that night and came out and demeaned and degraded Oprah, Tyler Perry, Steve Harvey and all the rest of the people she has beef with. Her entire set was disturbing. And the fact that she expects an apology from the people she talks so horribly about is appalling. That “Hey my sweet babies” talk is 🗑 and will definitely lead to her demise.

I just saw the Babyface/Kem concert. Now, one would think Kem should go first being the younger of the two in age & experience, but Babyface opened & Kem was the headliner. If anyone has a right to fuss about clout, it would be Babyface. But, he graciously did a dynamite opening& Kem expressed his profound respect & admiration for Babyface, conceding that BF was his mentor. No drama. Just phenomenal entertainment. I’m weary of Monique. I’m usually down with the Girl Power thing, but, Monique is just extra. Monique, we’ve all seen your tail. Please stop showing it to us. Have several seats. As you know the headliner gets to have more time and bring more material. They (the promoters) waited the night of the event to tell Mo how DLH had a hissy fit so they were switching her. I like how Lunell doesn't try to be messy and how she didn't really go in on anybody while making her points. What she stated on air, I know she would have had no problem saying to Monique's face. When I first saw the video clip of Monique talking to the audience, she seemed so toxic. I think she handled this situation wrong, but hopefully this will all end with two grown adults having a private conversation. No need to involve us any further.
@normandy25012 жыл бұрын
I pretty much agree with Lunell and Rickey. This was likely two egos clashing since they both have enough respect to close on a show. Monique was just puffing her chest out when there wasn't any need. If I were DL, knowing how Monique can get with everything she's delt with over the past years, I would just let her have her way as long as the money and time on stage wasn't messed up. Certain people just aren't worth the trouble of engaging them to that point. And I don't say that to disrespect her or anything, it's just I've dealt with many people like her and have a certain way I act around them.

It’s time for Mo to start talking less and being more strategic with her issues for her career path forward. I recently became a DL fan I like his radio show. These two are both fantastic. They are both headliners.I also remember King of Comedy Bernie KILLED it and he was third. Your gift will make room for you.

I’m with Ms Lunenell on this. I don’t care what happened. Learn to pick ur battles. That’s it that’s all

Have you ever been in church when the minister is delivering his sermon and he is angry at someone, but in his sermon he makes the whole congregation suffer? People bought tickets to enjoy a comedy show. Any drama between the performers and their promoter or other performer(s) is not what they came to witness. What ever happened to professionalism?

Agreed, Luenell. It was too much and I found the diatribe distasteful and disgraceful. No need to make your audience uncomfortable with your personal business dilemma. Sort that in another forum. But, I think Monique out to sabotage herself; it can't always be everybody out to get her.

That whole thing was RIDICULOUS and UNCOUTH

I’m like Luenell, I’m sick of hearing about MoNique. It was not the time or place for her to get out there and Speak on it. She needed to speak with the promoters and DL.

We don't know who's right or wrong in these situations but Monique has a history of taking her grievances to the court of public opinion. She seems too intelligent to not comprehend how this translates into the confrontations she's always involved in & I don't recall her being this disruptive until her Daddy as she calls him came into the picture...

Something ain't right at home. She gives off those Will at the Oscar's vibes. Blowing up on other people when the issue is staring her/him right in the face every night

Luenell missed her calling as a lawyer. Her varied angles for "reasoning" to support her position, noteworthy.
