Were you even listening? DL's tone and pitch may have been soft and not as abrasive as Moniques, but he threw in his jabs and insults like he always has against her. I see he's strategically focusing on the big names, trying to get her back-balled yet again, when those individuals do not have anything to do with this incident. DL was wrong for provoking Monique, knowing how she would react, just to sit back calmly and play the victim. He set her up and I pray Monique's career doesn't suffer again over this.

I’ve held this same thought since that Netflix situation. I saw through her manipulative words (my babies this, my babies that) because I believe there is a right & wrong way to proof a point, especially when it comes to business. She has always taken the wrong way. After all those awards she should’ve gotten lots of projects but I believe the way she goes about things ruined opportunities.

DL well spoken. I'm truly grateful for the way you handled things. The one thing you said that was very heartfelt, all of us in this country are mourning the loss of those babies gunned down at a place where they should have been safe. The elderly people that went to grocery store after church was gunned down. We don't need to be entertained with this kind of foolishness at a comedy event. We need to laugh and have a brief moment to take our minds off of these two horrific and devastated events. Thanks for not getting caught up with Monique's stuff. Exactly. A lot of her merits came from over a decade ago. She did Queens of Comedy (Which was only half full shows and didn't have half the Success of Kings of Comedy) 21 years ago and she did Precious in 2009 that she constantly brags about as far as being a headliner. After 2009, the only time I've ever heard her name was over conflict with someone else. Heck I listened to her classless one hour rant today and saw exactly how below the belt she is willing to go. She literally used DL's daughter situation to weaponize against him. Heck, that why DL's daughter destroyed her over it.

Years ago, along with giving folks the jokes they wanted, he started giving folks the jokes they needed along with brilliant insight. This is what elevates him above other comics. His vocabulary, the way he puts words together, and can still be funny (or on this case, be deep) is amazing.
