I have a doubt as I've been working for years with an electronics and repair laboratory, if the surface book 2 GTX 1050 GPU card can be attached to the surface book 1 base, if there's any adaptation for this my friend, just a question... the connectors are practically identical, I don't know if updating the firmware will recognize the most current gpu, you already do some test with this case ....

Why Microsoft Why!! I hate you so much right now!! Just use screws, that was painful to watch. I have 10 faulty surface books at work and cant repair them cause they are the biggest pieces of shit ever invented

So after I warp the F out of the base to get the base off and change the battery. How can I get my bottom plate/base to form back to a relatively straight/flat bottom again? Lol😅

Did the usb A port module have a cutout for the gpu fan? I’m looking for a replacement part but am uncertain if the performance base uses a different module than the one without gpu.

You can use the charger directly on the base to charger it up

Hi, I have surface book 1 i5 8GB/128GB, When I insert the plug into the Charging Port, the white light comes on When I press the power button, the laptop does not turn on. I can't disconnect the screen from the keyboard either. When I press the Surface's Eject Button, the light turns red. When I press the power button and hold down the volume up button, after a dozen or so seconds, the red light from the Surface tablet's disconnect button lights up once. Dear colleagues, what is the reason why I can't turn on surface book1 ?
