Being a drug addict is a lifelong illness. However, I’m glad she took ownership in her part, and he did the same. She's been quiet for the majority of the interview, I'm glad she held herself accountable and was there to support him. Curiosity can make you do some crazy things!!! I wish that would have been portrayed in the movie. I think if it were a movie about BBD or just Ricky Bell it would have been mentioned. I wish them nothing but the best on their individual sobriety. It’s a blessing and a curse. The curse is they started together, the blessing is they can hold each other accountable. With accountability comes a reminder of what’s really important getting high for 2 seconds or making sure you are the best you, you can be to provide for your children and be present for your grandchildren’s lives.

I saw that Home Again tour, and I was one of the lucky ones that saw them early on in the tour before Ronny and Bobby got in a fight, thus ruining the tour. First off, they took two hours to come on stage, because of Bobby almost not showing up, from the rumblings I heard from the staff. Then, as great as shoe was, Bobby almost never shut up. He would sing over folks, took the longest solo set, and he dragged the show on so long that they abandoned him on stage in order to end the show. That show went till like one in the morning. It was a once in a lifetime even to see all six of them on stage, and it is still one of my favorite concerts, plus Blackstreet? Awesome.

Bob gets such a bad rap for being an ass and no show on that Home Again Tour. But for the Dallas show it was Ralph who didn't get off the bus. And guess who stood in for him and sang all of his parts? Bob. He didn't know Ralph's dance routines, which was funny, but Bob was the professional that night.

Quiet as kept, I did security for NE @ the spare of the moment, years ago, for the HOME AGAIN tour as part -time work, during my college days. Outta all the members, of the group, I knew "Boogie" Gill , for the longest. I knew "Boogie" from DC. My deceased older brother, Tony, who was an educator , in the Baltimore-DC area @ the time, introduced me to "Boogie" & his family, over a period of time. I was especially impressed w/ Boogie's ol' man' s :The Rev. Johnny Gill, Sr. theology. My MOMS knew one of Boogie's maternal or paternal aunt's in High Point, NC. I also had the honor of coaching "Nippy" Houston's niece, Blair, @ NCCU. She was one of my patron's that would study @ our university's undergraduate library. I recall a funny story from childhood , that I told them about my ol' man being critically of my behavior in high school during an incident w/ one of my teachers @ the time of my freshman year. He said to me that I was acting CRAZY AS HELL , LIKE BOBBY! My POPS , went on to caution me if I continued to misbehave in school, that him & MOMS was going to enroll me into an all male boarding school. Tony echoed their sentiments as well. They all were in stitches, including Bob, as I told them about the incident back stage. :)))

Drugs are fun that's why people do them. It's not glorifying it to admit that reality.

Ricky, I commend you for telling your story, you and your wife look amazing and gorgeous together and these haters can shove it. I will forever be your fan!!

Ricky you and your wife are a beautiful couple and I wish you both alllllllllll the best and I'm sorry these judgmental KZbin trolls feel the need to judge and hate on your wife because she's light skinned and pretty and bagged a handsome awesome guy. These hateful single women that are trolling her in here go home to a cold bed and hold themselves crying at night. They are hating on her because they want a good, honest, loving, open man like you. She rescued you up and took care of you when you were down and out and loved you through the hard times. Take that beautiful spirited woman with you everywhere you go and y'all stay strong together. If you happen to see this comment, I still listen to "Something In Your Eyes" a million times a week and my favorite part is the part you sing in the end "anything is possible, anything can be....." It's still the shiznit after all of these years, yeah, I'm rambling LOL... Anyways y'all stay strong and thank you BBD and New Edition for being so much of a part of my life for many many years years. I'll always have y'all on blast. You are awesome and so is your beautiful wife!

drugs make you lose weight. when u stop getting high u get fat again if u were fat before. the drugs is what makes her look good. narcotics are just medications anyways. you are supposed to do them you do realize your body has receptor sites to receive these drugs for a reason right? look up research paper on drugs. science will tell you what is safe. i will make this beyond easy for you 1. CALIFORNIA WEED 2. POTENT PSILOCYBIN excluding the weak & common cubensis. Those two drugs will not kill you.

She held homey down like a real woman spose, didnt think about leaving when shit got thick, "when the money go, will the honey stay, when the grey sky's replace the sunny days" hats off to this remarkable specimen of a woman

A real woman doesn’t introduce her man to something that has the potential to destroy him. Amy didn’t hold him down. She enabled him.
