My heartfelt condolences on your loss. I hope that time is helping you come to grips with something which can at times be so overwhelming. My dad passed December 26, 2021, he was 93, I was at his side for almost a week till his passing. Then I lost the love of my life January 12, 2022. Once again I was lucky enough to be by her side for her last few days. I apologize that I really don't know what to say, all I can share is that it is just so hard, so so hard. I have waves of grief that take control of me and I'm helpless to stop them. I know they say that we are not unique in our grief, but I don't agree. I think we are all trying to figure it out in our own way. Please take care of yourself. The strength within us, comes from those around us. God bless

@kevinw7125 жыл бұрын
@@CAFCmatt55 well I mean I've seen a number of different video feeds over the years on here of someone doing press on a UK radio show, but this particular guy is new to me. So I honestly wasn't sure if that's simply how he did things, as incredibly bizarre as that would be lol.. otherwise yeah that was my best guess, that Netflix really wanted Ricky to do this particular interview but he simply couldn't be in that building at that time, so they did this impromptu. And, the particularly weird thing is, I wonder if the DJ does have some kind of video feed close up with Ricky's face, because while the guy looks around a bit he does seem to mostly zero in on that one spot directly above his head. Whereas even if that was the setup, Ricky obviously didn't have one on his side.
@CAFCmatt555 жыл бұрын
Kevin W yeah so the interviewer Nihal, did an interview years ago for BBC R1 for the Office (might be wrong on the show) and Ricky brings it up in an interview with a later R1 DJ Greg James when promoting Idiot Abroad with Karl so they know each other. Nihal doesn’t have a big audience so imagine their history played a part in putting this together. I think you’re probably right with your conclusion though.

One problem, those who say life IS WORTH LIVING tend to be mostly healthy, happy & well-off. Try writing/filming the story or perspective of someone who's terminally ill & has been disabled & a medical lab rat their whole lives, who have a large family that's healthy & well-off, but are as utterly unsupportive, unloving & uncaring as they can be. Nobody ever cares about those lives or how bad it was until after they're no longer around to tell their story...
@SilverFoxy2074 жыл бұрын
So the writing isn't from wealth or poverty. The point is you need to take every moment with someone you love in your life a cherish it because they could be gone in a split second and its 100% truth i have lost so many i have loved too many. The prospective of his wife in the show is her knowing she's going to die but still being more worried about him because she loves him & him reflecting on the good times with her and how much he misses her & want to be with her again Coz he has no one else. Until he realises something I won't say anything elseabout the show. u can't tell a storie of someone in pain sick and alone being a ginni pig & have that have a out come with humour in it you can make a show about it of course but its not what this is about. For someone to be terminally ill for most their life & have absolutely no one who cares or loves them has to have some reason to continue going & being injected with test drugs to live even if its your dog,cat plants ect. They Must have someone or somthing they are fighting to live for. If u are this person I will be here for you even tho u don't know me. I can become that one person in the world that cares for you. 100% truth maybe not in a physical sense but if u need to talk cry laugh u can talk to me. That's the amazing part of the internet u can have someone anywhere in the world who cares. ❤

There is a major difference between trophy hunting some endangered big game species in an unregulated part of the world and the more typical hunting (that goes on in the US at least). Deer are by far the biggest targets, and their natural predators have been reduced in number or eliminated all across the continent. Irresponsible hunting led to their extirpation (local extinction) in much of the eastern US, but since ~1900 their numbers have been increasing and there are more deer in North America now than there likely have ever been. There are too many - their major predator is automobiles. In places with no hunting they quickly overpopulate and diseases like tuberculosis run rampant. Letting "nature take its course" results in widespread starvation and disease, as well as a large increase in property damage and injuries/deaths from auto accidents. Though there are idiots who ruin everything, the vast majority of hunters are ethical about which animals and shots they take, and they are vital for use as a population control device. Even the most "buck fever" ridden idiot who just wants antlers on the wall will donate the carcass to a food bank, and all across the country, deer processors (not all, but a substantial fraction) accept such donations free of charge as a public service. Finally, in the US, people who hunt and fish provide the largest source of conservation money, period, there's nothing that even comes a close second. Why not just give the money away instead of attaching it to hunting and fishing? Well, it's only about 10% of the country that hunts, and the other 90% do a pretty terrible job of financing conservation, so why would that 10% do any better if they quit hunting?
