I won several singing competitions singing this song. You sing best when you sing from the heart! Both Ricky Van Shelton and the man who sang it first in the 1960s Jack Green were both fantastic singers. Hats off to you for bringing this back to us!

Very nice reaction! I adore RVS. I bought concert tix specifically so I could hear him sing this song. It's so beautiful. He was amazing live. He just stood on the massive stage with his guitar and sang. So pure. I also love Gary Morris and Doug Stone.
