I watched the live session but like the summarised follow up. Thanks Ricky

Two minutes in and lightbulbs are going off. Not to mention that as you write I’m saying Cash, Every, Good in my head as I just finished the Circle of Thirds video. Thanks! The way you drew the chords, how they stack and the inversions really helped me visualize it.

C/E, E/G# etc are used all the time in contemporary Christian music, mostly transition chords and they add amazing tension, drama or color. For a small example chorus of Hosanna by Hillsong.

I happen to love that minor 6th. I was playing that when I first started 35 years ago. And I had no idea what the F I was playing 😂 I just knew it sounded good and dark 🤘

What difference does it make changing the root, third and fifth order? Wouldn’t you still be fretting the same notes?

Is that a Yamaha Pacifica 112? I have been playing mine since 1999

I have a red and black one. They are my favorite. I have tired many guitars but keep going back to the 112. @@rickysguitar

It's the neck. Have you seen the new models?!!

I got my red one just before Christmas so it is one of the newer ones. I need to get my .08 strings on it but other than that I love it as much as the one from 1999. @@rickysguitar

The one in the video is a 1990s model I bought in a second hand shop for £25! I have a 612V as well. But the 90s Pacificas were the best for me.
