I love Scott Hall. I’ve said this before, I’m not ashamed to admit that I shed some real tears when he passed. Still makes me so sad. Several wrestlers and other people who worked/work in the industry have said that Scott had one of the greatest minds for the business. The man was brilliant when it came to his craft. R.I.P. “bad guy”. I, for one, will always miss you and I’ll never forget you. When the n.W.o. came onto the scene was one of the funnest times to watch wrestling. I miss those days so much. That, and watching wrestling as a kid in the 80’s. Time flies far too fast. Wish I had a Time Machine.

As if being eliminated wouldn’t be bad enough, getting thrown into the ice cold water only adds to the reason why ‘winning’ is a must. In the end, one man would stand dry while the rest face the agonizing humiliation of defeat. And the winner of this rumble was none other than… Scott Hall, God rest his soul, a man whom we are all familiar with. We’ve seen him compete in these rumbles several times, having lost so many throughout his time on this channel though somehow managing to procure ‘one’ victory in his resume. One of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time, Hall now cements himself as a champion among champions as he prepares for the greatest opportunity of his entire career. Granted, it came very close between this guy and a ‘Chewbacca’ parody in a head-to-head fight that could have ended either way. And yet, it was during the final minutes of this match where Hall demonstrated how badly he wanted to win this match and to which we are proud to welcome him into this season’s champion’s rumble. But who was my MVP of this ‘Wet and Wild’ rumble? Let’s get down to the numbers: Of the thirty superstars featured in this rumble, a record EIGHTEEN competitors secured the most eliminations. The highest count reached ‘6’ eliminations, which is five points higher than the average ‘1’ elimination. I give the Golden MVP for ‘coolest’ performance to… Mr. T I’ve seen Mr. T featured in these rumbles numerous times (Whether as a member of the A Team or as Clubber Lang). But this was without a doubt one of T’s best performances I’ve ever seen (Even better than his time when he was formerly a SCAW superstar… with his own talk show). I’ll be honest, I was rooting for Mr. T to win this match based on his performance, but we can’t always get what we want. Still, if he doesn’t appear as a potential MVP for one of the last remaining rumbles, I’ll be pleasantly surprised. The Dull Participation Medal for the ‘lamest’ performance goes to… Joe Rogan When I hear that name, I remember him best as the host of ‘Fear Factor’, one of the grossest, intense… yet surprisingly entertaining shows I’ve ever seen (I’ll never forget when Matt Hardy won an episode). Now, I am aware he did other things even a comedy show which my parents often see on KZbin but otherwise I barely knew Rogan from anything else. When it comes to the number of times Rogan has been in these rumbles… this just wasn’t his best match. I’m not going to say it’s the ‘worst’ match of his entire career, but he can always do better. Scott Hall is making waves on this episode as he prepares for a huge champion’s rumble. But as we work our way through the last remaining bouts, a few questions are left to answer: If this is just the men Ricky has known, how wild would it be if we had a women’s rumble that similar? Can we see more professional wrestlers securing a spot in this rumble? Can these rumbles get ‘any’ crazier? But the biggest question of them all: Who’s next?
