Thanks certainly helpful.. The only problem is that when my Ricoma Bird Nests in the Bobbin case...it jams the thread on the left hand side behind and between the case. Does this mean the bobbin case was not tightened up fully when installed?

if the threads reach your bobbin case, then you top tension is more than likely the culprit and just too loose and needs to be addressed. OR your bobbin is way too tight. There needs to be a balance. Watch the live today to get more information.

BN is not my issue. The threads at the back tangling and pulling through is my main issue with the machine. I cant leave the machine unattended for too long. I have to remove or isolate the unused spools from the ones being used to prevent thread tangle at the back. What can Ricoma do about this? No!, there's no fan blowing the threads.
