You can see he still has the mechanics & power. If he catches someone it'll be bad news for them. Bowe would most likely keep the distance close, & stay in striking range.

Based on what? Who did he fight? Who did he beat? He missed his shot when he threw his belt in a trash can to avoid a fight with Lennox Lewis. He was slow and got hit too much. If Andrew Golata was not a self destructive psychopath he would beaten Bowe.

Bowe is not even in the same class as Evander, Holmes, Foreman etc... Should not even be in the same sentence with those guys. Riddick Bowe was a decent boxer at best, he was an arm puncher, slow, and got hit way too much.

Unfortunately he had no longevity In the sport, so I do put Evander, Lewis, Holmes, Foreman clearly ahead of him. You could put Bowe In same sentence as those guy's for sure. Arm puncher? Evander said the 2 biggest punchers he faced was Foreman and Bowe. He didn't even mention Tyson.

Riddick Bowe was the most effective boxer i saw, his indiscipline was his downfall, but he was a complete heavyweight with such an a mazing inside fighting, he had power and a good speed. You all have your favorites, but Riddick at his best was definitely unstoppable.

Bowe dropped holyfield and hurt him in his prime and Lewis faught close fights with and close to over the hill holyfield could have lost the 2nd meeting with holyfield and never dropped or really hurt the real deal like Bowe n holyfield beat Tyson so you can say in all they primes Bowe beats them all

Styles make fights, Bowe was getting his ass kicked twice by Golota, Lennox obliterated Golota. Bowe may not of been in his absolute prime but the margin of their relative perfomances was massive and Bowe was a few years younger than Lennox

I can't believe how shot he is. He peaked and fell so fast. What a small window...He could have beaten Lewis, yes, because Lewis really isn't a "great" but he would have had to fought him a year before or a year after he fought Holyfield the first time...otherwise who knows...

Yeah, his peak was 2-3 fights tops. Bowe had all the tools.. even the crowd loved him. But there's the problem.. a 'crowd pleasing style'. Go watch that Lewis Mercer fight and tell me why he changed his style after that fight. Many thought he (Lewis) fought too cautious.. but boxing is about sustaining yourself. Both deserve the glory in my opinion.

I can see Riddick is having trouble with his knees (more the left it looks like), can't quite straighten it and is limping.
