The problem that I hated about the movie and bothered me is that there was no honour amongst the Necromongers, they say you keep what you kill but what if you did it without honour. You literally could interfere in the 1 vs 1 dual fight or kill the ruler while he's weaken after the battle or during the battle and still be accepted as the new ruler even when everyone knows you did it the cowards way. It just doesn't make sense without honour. That's why it hard to believe no one dared to challenge him after the fight when he's much weaker and out numbered and worst Riddick does not believe what they believe in and faith in.
