I agree with him. Believing their pitch about the driving improvements is hilarious. They nerfed it so my nephew could play, first of all. And the de-evolution of graphics is indicative of a de-evolution of budget. They took all the money and paid bonuses and went on vacation. They released this ABSOLUTE turd because they went viral with their graphical realism and intensity, most people, like myself, assume the newest game must look the best right? I had a 3050 back then but now I'm packing a 4070tk super IM S HYPE THIS KS GONNA LOOK LIKE REAL LIFE.... literally PlayStation 4 graphics at best. Shame on them for this money grab, shame on you for falling for it, and shame on you for sticking your nose in someone else's content like you're some hot shot to be listened to above others. I understand what you saying and I also question the lack of graphical improvements especially on Pc. But to their defence, if grass is gonna be in the game and can't render in early enough you will have insane amount of pop-ups and that look so jarring and ruin all immersion. So I think they tried and when that grass was flickering into view non-stop they decided to remove it which I stand behind fully. I can't stand pop-ups because that will look worse than not having the grass at all.

@@frogboyx1Gaming Glad to hear that, I do feel the Pc version looks nice enough especially since you do ride quite fast. I only wish it had full crossplay it kinda sucks that they limit such a limited playerbase even further with no crossplay for Pc and consoles. Some decision making blows my mind with todays devs, they seem a bit out of touch with what is cool and requested. I would for instance love to see co-op being available in career mode maybe even with 4-8 players or the full team 19-20 bikes. I mean why not have the career against each other as an option, the code is pretty much there since there is already multiplayer. It seems like innovation and taking the games further is a way of the past these days, rinse and repeat old templates is the norm. I also feel like they are capping graphics lately on purpose, I see it in so many games that they are not really pushing it to the next level anymore. If that is because we are actually reaching a point where graphics cards will not be able to go further as it is limited by size/heat issues etc I don't know. I just know there is something going on because there are 10 year old games not looking much worse than games now. Go back another 10 years and you can clearly see the extreme evolution of graphics. I am just glad I haven't noticed any pop-ups on Pc because I am sensitive to that and it make the game look like a game from early 2000. The removing of tracks is disappointing, they should never remove tracks in sequels in my opinion just add more, same with bikes. Every game restarts just to milk DLC but who knows if we even get that cool finnish track from Ride 4 and others missing? That Finnish is missing and I really liked that one. Anyway I appreciate your video and impressions, it's always nice to get another take on things and compare it with your own issues and disappointmens.

Ride 5 : Do not fix it , if it is not broken , I was expecting DriveClub level graphics in ride 5 where bike handing would be very realistic and also improved some lighting which gives real life bike ridding vibe my disappointment is immeasurable, Ride 5 has been ruined

I can’t remember the name. The riders lean down so their knees almost touch the tar? I was very interested in that game. It reminded me of the modern equivalent to the arcade game “hang on“.

Milestone has been milking the same cow since Ride 3. Ride 4 was Ride 3 with LESS bikes. I refunded this and i won't be wasting any more money on Milestone's products, unless it's something really new and decent.

I can't stand wrecking because I hit some limit I have no idea was there with twitchy controller. Well the turning feels sluggish but ok for the price.

For me, it's not even the graphics... it's the lack of content. Ride 2 was my favorite Ride game and it was packed with content. Ride 4 and 5 are lacking and not worth the full retail price. Definitely a game to buy on sale though.

I think the consoles were playing cross gen games which made them look alot better..now that we are seeing next gen games, these graphics are feeling probably alot worse than they would have 1 or 2 years ago. Next gen and console ..some words that probably dont go together. We are already back to 1080p and 720p on consoles that were promosed as 4k 60 machines..and 8k 120 if your a ps5 owner.

I'm more disappointed in the bike list, they cut out way to many bikes. Someone was saying twenty manufacturers, I only counted 14. They ditched the 300cc class and the 125cc class. Graphics are one aspect to judge, but to me less content is what upsets me.

When it comes to brands I can't really blame them as much, its out of their control. Like Farming Sim, when it became famous All brands almost gave them free License, now FS is very established they ask for Fortune for licensing especially John Deere and similar. But yeah they also lock a lot Behind the DLCs.

Probably paid DLC coming in the near future.... Bimota is back, but they only have one bike in-game right now. Milestone will probably make us pay extra for the DB8, BB3 and a few bikes from other manufacturers that are missing on Day 1.

Eeeh... It's because the diameter of the tire is less on the outside of the tire. Which causes the revs to go up when you lay the bike over.

I can get gran turismo sport looking better on my 4k monitor using my 4k gamer pro. I never could get into these bike games, the brakes don't work, the bike keeps on going for 200 meters after you have hit the brakes. I've got all 4 ride games, not going to bother with 5.

But its a simulator... im a military aircraft tech, and helicopter simulators have worse graphics... its not about that, your purchasing for the physics, and the various parameters you can mess with to get different physic reactions. The idea is to fiddle with the bikes to maximise your potential to get lap times. Ride 4 and 5 are really quite different in the physics department. I will purchase an arcade racer to look at how nice the grass is...
