[RIDE ALONG!] *STRUCTURE FIRE* | Littleton & South Metro Fire responding to Residential Fire!

Seen here is a Ride Along with Medic 18 of the Littleton Fire Department to a structure fire in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. Several other units can also be seen, arriving at the scene.
"Unconfirmed Residential Structure Fire" at S. Castle Ridge Cir. was the initial dispatch message for multiple units of the Littleton FD as well as the South Metro Fire Rescue. The fire were reported in Littleton Fire Station 18's first due area - because Tower 18 were already out on a different call, Medic 18 were the first fire unit on scene, after Battalion Chief 10.
That's why I was able to film several other units arriving at the scene. Assigned to this incident were:

- Littleton Fire Engine 15
- Littleton Fire Engine 16
- Littleton Fire Engine 17
- Littleton Fire Ladder 12
- Littleton Fire Tower 18
- South Metro Fire Safety

- South Metro Fire Engine 40

I love how south metro and some other departments have medics that do firefighting task. At my department, you may see firefighter/emt’s on a ambulance, but they never do firefighting

Yeah, Engine 40 is one of a kind in South Metro FR - and unfortunately the slowest (staffed) unit in the department. Good that I was able to catch it here. Thanks Parker! :)

Hi, no Station 18 just have a Tower, Medic, Safety & Brush Unit, they used to have an Engine, but that was some time ago. Yep, the video were taken in LFR's last summer :)

This is marked as Structure Fire but is Nothing More than an Unattended Cooking Call. Nice Looking Pierce Rigs but if Someone's view of this is a Structure Fire they might need to head back to the Academy. No Disrespect being sent just an Observation for a 25 year Guy. Safe All My Redline Family.

Bring em all, especially if you don't know for sure. If it was a raging inferno the response time would be lower than if they waited for confirmation before responding. All the units can be disregarded if not needed. Most emergency services rule of thumb is its better to be there and not be needed, than to not be there and be needed.
