Ride from Jamaica to Oyster Bay on train

I never did a trainride video on the Oyster Bay Branch before so this was extra special as it is a branch that I don’t normally railfan since it’s kind of far away from my home. We traverse hilly terrain and the approach to Oyster Bay is quite scenic. Most enjoyable ride to “ The Bay”

So happy you did this branch. This was my branch growing up and the branch I commuted on every day to the city. Taking it to HPA and from HPA MOST DAYS. You truly are the best at this. Would love to see you down in Florida. I think you would appreciate Brightline. Some great freight action as well

Is the old Oyster Bay depot still there? Teddy Roosevelt used it.

Yes, it is still there. It is used by the Oyster Bay Railroad Museum. They did a great job restoring the building.

Many trips on OB line due to family living in the area but never took trip from LV to OB... The Mill Neck station still looks in decent shape but no longer in use.
