They forget to tell you that there is a $125 deductible for that replacement scooter. Hidden fees!!

Hey there, we'd be happy to add additional details here. The deductible is charged in cases of a stolen or damaged scooter. If we find that the scooter was damaged due to water exposure, gross negligence, or deliberate tampering, then you will be responsible for a deductible. Then why did you try to charge me a deductible in a hit and run accident that I submitted a police report for. I basically had to threaten to end my subscription to get the deductible waived. A motor vehicle/scooter collision shouldn't be considered negligent by the scooter rider unless they were at fault and that is very rare. I've been hit by a car 4 times in the 3 years that I have been leasing my scooter and I have never been required to pay a deductible until this last time. In a hit and run accident the scooter rider gets stuck with all the medical expenses caused by the fleeing car. You adding a $149 deductible is unacceptable and bad business practice. There are no private insurance companies that will insure riders at this time, so we put our lives on the line every time we hop on a scooter. A little empathy would be appreciated when an accident occurs not $$$ signs.
