Brilliant video Simon. Thank you. I rode to the Tan Hill Inn from home in Whitby a few weeks ago. You’ve inspired me to visit the other two pubs now!!

Great video Simon, having travelled some of the first half, actually stayed overnight at the Tan Hill Inn, this brings back great memories. Cracking scenery and back roads you have found.

Shame about the weather Simon, great trip, first visited Tan Hill Inn a long time ago. We used to live in the Forest of Bowland before moving to the north east, some amazing roads and very popular with walkers and bikers.

Brilliant video. Really enjoyed seeing my local riding roads. Followed the same route as you from Hawes on Bank Holiday Friday 😀. Looking forward to the Wales section next. Ride safe 🙏 👌

We don’t get many single track paved roads in the States. Federal and state programs for road improvements prohibit simply paving a lane. Money is available for widening lanes, but to pave it you must first widen it.

You have more space than us. We have a lot of single tracks over here.

Just wondered, is there still the Kremlin on Clee Hill?
