still waiting to see someone pull a 360 or 720 whirlpool ( yaw spin, away and back towards face) - straight up, spin, land switch (I dont mean a rodeo.. I am kinda amazed that this 3rd axis of rotation still isn't being pursued.. it will unlock a lot of moves)

So they would have to air, level out perpendicular to the ground, spin, then shift their body to the stance they took off to land into the vert? I mean...😅 Feels like you need some air propulsion and stopping tech for that to be a thing

@@fullyfb3847 no shifting stance - more like, as you go straight up, grab, swing other arm to 360/720 as you are still going up.. land fakie.. it's like a straight up corkscrew or whirlpool. Grosso used to do back flips (roll), most air for the last 40 years is some form of pitch, but this is the other one (yaw) The scary part of it would be rotating away from the wall, back towards, and nailing the landing (big backwards fall if not) No vert for me since 2000, so all I can do is try to help visualize it :)

@@ordinarypete I think once people can visualize it, the floodgates will open :) Example: Sit on a desk chair, facing a wall, grab a board vertically, both feet on, board *parallel* to the wall (feet way up!) - now have someone fast spin you 360 or 720. On a wall, you'll need to use free arm to get the spin.. Straight up, stall, straight down... Or just think of a whirlpool...

Sic stuff fella's. I had double slam moment when jumping my old ktm300exc off 10 pallet step up over massive hill. Went bit to far and broke lower left leg and destroyed knee with impact through bike first impact. Then was thrown off bike and about 15m so fast down steep hill only 30cm from ground, hit ground at base and knocked me out. 4 knee and leg surgeries, 6 yrs later still can't kneel even on bed or feel below knee.

If you can get a college scholarship for bowling and volleyball, you should be able to get one for skateboarding. I've contacted athletic directors from the 4 biggest colleges in Kansas asking if they have plans for building parks, hosting teams and giving athletic scholarships for the toughest athletes in the world. I've heard nothing back from any of them. Why are people so resistant to the awesome force that is skateboarding? Is it because it promotes unity and not separatism? Is it because it displays courage instead of fear? Toughen up you pansies and give skateboarding the respect it deserves.
