been waiting for this, so stoked to watch!!! funny how when people hold "skate events" at their local park they use a picture of one of these guys on a vert ramp doing something awesome, and then when you say "hey that's cool i didn't know there was a vert ramp there" they say "oh its not there i just used a picture" its like even people who wouldn't advocate for a vert ramp being added to the design of a new skatepark will still use pictures of people skating vert on a flyer or posting to draw a crowd for their events because vert is still THE COOLEST part about skateboarding and it should have been the FIRST skateboarding discipline in the olympics. much love to each and every one of you

Absolute style on display, this is some of the most incredible skating I've seen to date! Though it does seem weird to me to compare Ema who just did 3 back to back 900s and Moto who's been skating longer than Ema has been alive. Their ability, skill level, and physicality really isn't comparable for the sake of judging. I'm confused why they don't do age groups, commentators mention all the time about the age differences and how impressive it is for younger skaters to be doing what they're doing. I agree 100%, but how can you compare them reasonably when it mostly becomes subjective at that point? Is a 9 year old doing a 900 inherently more impressive than a 16 year old doing one(or even a 31 year old)? I would say yes, but then that's not really fair to the 16 year old or in the spirit of good competition. Is there a reason they don't separate the skaters by age?

so I am in the old fart category, keep that in mind. I understand my prefernce of 1980's skating videos (animal chin, future primative, etc) is partially a function of nostalgia. But I cannot watch any modern skating or extreme sports because of the commentary. No one can let 1 second of air be silent. its got to be some aplitude or stoked nonsense. this video would be 100% better with some decent music playing over it, the crowd noise and nothing else

If you skate, you'd be used to the wide range of ages at nearly every skatepark. That is one of the things that is somewhat unique about skating unlike say...baseball.

Ridiculous judging! Clearly Moto smoked over GUI Khury and Reef Orlando smoked over him and Mitchie Brusco. WTF is going in w/the judges? It really puts the sport to shame. You all got to do better on the judging. Also, there should be an age category of those 15 and younger and as well for 16 and over.
