These bikes are cool and all. Though terrible range. However, their business model is to put LBS outta business. Yet in their manuals, website and in phone calls, these companies want you to take your E-bike to a LBS. That has now closed. Even if they have a physical location, there is usually the just one. Does 1up offer free transport to the factory/shop if warranty work is needed? From another country?

It might be helpful to your viewers to advise them that the bike in your review is not a Ride1Up Roadster V2, but the much differently spec'd Ride1Up Gravel Roadster V2. Unlike the bike you are reviewing, Ride1Up's Roadster V2 comes with caliper rim brakes, not disc brakes. The Roadster V2 also features a 64/20T Toptrans belt drive, not the lower-geared and higher-durability 63/22T Gates belt drive on the Gravel Roadster. The bike in your review appears to be equipped with WTB Resolute 700Cx42 knobby gravel tires which are about $65 each, while the Ride1Up Roadster V2 comes with the Kenda Kwest 700x28s, which are $15 commuter tires. I only mention this not because I'm a pedantic nit-picker (well, not only because of that), but because Ride1Up is direct ship to consumer, or mail-order only, and it could be disappointing to a purchaser of a Roadster V2 to discover only after assembly that their new bike was lacking those useful and expensive components touted in the video. Especially since Ride1Up's 14 Day Return Policy is: "We only accept returns on unopened and unused ebike shipments." Otherwise, great review of the Gravel Roadster V2! Keep up the good work. 1+

Yikes. Thanks for pointing that out! Apparently the PR team for Ride1Up goofed and mixed up their specs and links between the two bikes and I didn't catch it. Made changes in the title/links to clarify.

Beware - Ride1Up has really poor product support. Installation manual for the Roadster 2 Gravel was for the wrong bike, online videos also for the wrong bike, and after 5 months of mild riding both brakes are terrible. I contacted them, they said they don't cover normal wear and tear (5 months!) and then sent me a link to Amazon to buy new brake pads. Not exactly the support I was hoping to receive. Very disappointed.
