Russell Winfield's Lost Graphic

Russell Winfield is back with another limited launch with RIDE. Pretty crazy story behind this one, buckle up.
While filming for Rough Around the Edges the production crew was digging through the RIDE archive boxes. Since these boxes hold the entire history of the brand, you’d think they would be labeled and organized. In true RIDE fashion, they aren’t. Rifle through these boxes and you’ll find old catalogs, never before seen photos, prototype designs, and original artwork for some of the most iconic RIDE graphics. Maybe even some stuff that would warrant an immediate “cease and desist” if we put them on boards today. Look hard enough and you’ll even find this original Ron Lemen painting, designed specifically for Russell’s board. Long story short, Ron painted this in the early ‘90’s for Russell, and it never saw the light of day. Until now. Pulling straight from the archives, we’re happy to share the newest Russell Algorhythm.

The generation of fun graphics. The whole topic of diy spray paint on the topsheet and even cutting boards down to cut weight and give them a better shape is probably not known to the younger generation.

Coming from 2023 Ride its kinda funny.. Unisex boards... stupid spray paint stripes.. playing it so safe... man been riding "Ride" for 15 years.. sad to see..😢 please hire some new artists, or who ever approves your graphics.. the day art and style becomes safe.. is the day it dies. Boring.... When I'm on the lift and I look down at my board I want to admire the art. Not see a blank canvas.

they've got some dope graphics on some of the 25' model boards. one of my favorites is 23' Ride Zero. The graphics are simply but kinda a throwback to their early 90s graphics. I also really dig my 24' Algorhythm regular edition graphics.
