It seems there's some confusion about the motorcycle description. I'm not sure if it's a Harley either; I'm just relying on the incident report below. Narrative: On September 14th, 2024, at approximately 01:01 A.M, I, Trooper Aison Desuyo (ID #5157), was on routine patrol in a fully marked Florida Highway Patrol Agency vehicle, stopped at the traffic control signal of westbound 10th Ave N and Interstate 95 (State Road 9). As I was stopped at the traffic control signal, Sgt. Mario Alarcon (ID #3254) advised me via telephone that he was behind a red Harley Davidson motorcycle traveling southbound on Interstate 95, north of County Road 812 (Lantana Rd), in the outside lane. Sgt. Alarcon advised me that the motorcycle was traveling at approximately 86 MPH (miles per hour) in a posted 65 MPH speed limit zone, and the tag attached to the motorcycle was expired as of 2018. Sgt. Alarcon also advised me that the Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling with the right turn signal activated while continuing straight and not changing direction. I then responded to Sgt. Alarcon’s location to provide him with assistance. I activated my emergency blue lights and sirens and safely proceeded from westbound 10th Ave N onto southbound Interstate 95 to assist Sgt. Alarcon. At 01:05 A.M, I observed Sgt. Alarcon behind the motorcycle (emergency blue lights and sirens not yet activated) and observed the motorcycle drift to the left, crossing over the safety zone of Gateway Blvd and Interstate 95. I observed the motorcycle then swerve back to the right to travel southbound on the Interstate 95 exit ramp to Gateway Blvd. Sgt. Alarcon then activated his emergency blue lights and sirens to conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle for the speed, expired tag, and crossing into the safety zone. I then observed the red motorcycle take evasive action and accelerate while changing lanes, making an active attempt to flee/elude from Sgt. Alarcon’s traffic stop. The motorcycle turned right to travel westbound on Gateway Blvd, changing multiple lanes and continuously accelerating away from our patrol vehicles (Sgt. Alarcon and myself) while our emergency blue lights and sirens were continuously activated. While traveling westbound on Gateway Blvd, the motorcycle then changed lanes from the westbound lanes of Gateway Blvd to travel westbound in the eastbound lanes of Gateway Blvd at San Piper Dr. Sgt. Alarcon and I then followed the motorcycle with our emergency blue lights and sirens activated as we continued to actively pursue the vehicle. The red motorcycle then continued westbound in the eastbound lanes of Gateway Blvd until turning left to travel southbound on State Road 809 (S Military Trail), while Sgt. Alarcon and I followed behind the motorcycle with our emergency blue lights and sirens activated, actively pursuing the vehicle. When the red motorcycle turned left from Gateway Blvd to travel southbound on State Road 809, the vehicle began to travel southbound in the northbound lanes. After continuing southbound on State Road 809 from Gateway Blvd, the motorcycle performed a U-turn on State Road 809 at Jamaica Bay Dr to travel northbound on State Road 809, while our emergency blue lights and sirens were activated behind the vehicle. It should be noted that the driver of the motorcycle showed willful or wanton disregard for the safety of persons or property. As the pursuit continued on northbound State Road 809 past Gateway Blvd, Trooper Devin Alston (ID #5249) turned right from westbound Gateway Blvd to further assist Sgt. Alarcon and me in the apprehension of the red motorcycle. The red motorcycle continued northbound on State Road 809 until reaching the intersection of Hypoluxo Rd and State Road 809, where the motorcycle performed another U-turn on State Road 809 at Crosstrail South to travel southbound on State Road 809, with our emergency blue lights and sirens activated while actively pursuing the vehicle. The motorcycle continued to travel northbound on State Road 809 until reaching Miner Rd, where the vehicle turned left to travel east on Miner Rd. The motorcycle continued eastbound on Miner Rd until reaching the intersection of Miner Rd and South Sun Up Trail, at which point the motorcycle turned left to travel southbound on South Sun Up Trail. The motorcycle continued southbound on South Sun Up Trail until it reached the intersection of South Sun Up Trail and White Feather Trail, where the vehicle turned right to travel westbound on White Feather Trail. The motorcycle then continued westbound on White Feather Trail until reaching the intersection of White Feather Trail and State Road 809, at which point the vehicle turned left to travel southbound on State Road 809. The motorcycle then began to travel southbound on State Road 809 in the northbound lanes of travel. The motorcycle continued southbound in the northbound lanes of State Road 809 until reaching the intersection of State Road 809 and Gateway Blvd, at which point the motorcycle turned left to travel eastbound on Gateway Blvd. The motorcycle continued eastbound on Gateway Blvd until reaching the intersection of Gateway Blvd and Lawrence Rd, at which point the vehicle turned right to travel southbound on Lawrence Rd. The motorcycle continued to travel in the wrong direction of travel, going southbound on Lawrence Rd in the northbound lanes, until reaching the intersection of Lawrence Rd and County Road 792 (Woolbright Rd), at which point the motorcycle turned left to travel eastbound on County Road 792. At the point where the motorcycle turned left from the northbound lanes while traveling south, Trooper Alston attempted to block the motorcycle’s path of travel by pulling in front of the vehicle. However, the motorcycle successfully evaded Trooper Alston and maneuvered around his patrol vehicle. I then followed the motorcycle, taking the lead of the pursuit. The motorcycle then began to travel eastbound on County Road 792. It should be noted that while the vehicle began to travel eastbound on County Road 792, the motorcycle began to travel the wrong direction of travel once again, traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes. At this time during the pursuit, Trooper Franklin Valera (ID #5212) and Trooper Robensen Lafleur (ID #5261) joined the pursuit. The motorcycle traveled eastbound in the westbound lanes on County Road 792 until reaching the intersection of County Road 792 and Southwest 15th St. At the intersection of County Road 792 and Southwest 15th St, the motorcycle performed a U-turn to travel westbound on County Road 792 from Southwest 15th St. The motorcycle continued westbound on County Road 792 until reaching the intersection of County Road 792 and Hagen Ranch Rd. At this time, Sgt. Alarcon, Trooper Alston, Trooper Lafleur, Trooper Valera, and I all attempted to box in the motorcycle to prevent it from fleeing further and to apprehend the driver. However, the motorcycle then intentionally accelerated toward Sgt. Alarcon as he attempted to open his driver’s side door and intentionally collided with the patrol vehicle (FHP3469) in order to flee again. As a result, the motorcycle’s left portion collided with the upper and rear portion of the driver’s side door. Following the collision, the motorcycle continued to flee northbound on Hagen Ranch Rd. The motorcycle continued northbound on Hagen Ranch Rd until reaching the intersection of Hagen Ranch Rd and Charleston Shores Blvd, at which point the motorcycle turned left to travel westbound on Charleston Shores Blvd. The motorcycle continued westbound on Charleston Shores Blvd until reaching a dead-end intersection on Charleston Shores Blvd, just west of Belmant Dr. After the motorcycle came to a stop as there was no other direction to flee, Trooper Alston exited his patrol vehicle and tackled the driver of the motorcycle, escorting him to the ground, where I was able to place him under arrest for fleeing and eluding. It should be noted that during the entirety of the pursuit, the driver of the motorcycle, who was later identified as Scott Thomas (DOB: 02/05/1961), operated his vehicle in a highly aggressive and reckless manner, showing utter disregard for other motorists on the roadways. It should also be noted that it was later discovered by the Lake Worth Regional Communications Center (LWRCC) that Mr. Thomas had an active warrant out for his arrest in Palm Beach County (Case Number 24-001244 CTAXX, FTA). It was also later discovered that Mr. Thomas possessed a driver’s license that expired in 2007 and was suspended as of 04/01/2024. Mr. Thomas advised that he fled because he knew his license was suspended and was aware of the warrant for his arrest. It should be noted that Mr. Thomas received minor cuts and scratches from the takedown performed by Trooper Alston. Following the apprehension of Mr. Thomas, Trooper David Fanego (ID #4996) transported him to the Palm Beach County Jail, where he was booked with the following charges: - Violation of F.S.S 316.1935(3)(a) - Fleeing and Eluding with Disregard for Safety to Persons or Property - Violation of F.S.S 316.192(1)(a) - Reckless Driving - Violation of F.S.S 322.34(10)(b)(2) - Driving While License Suspended/Cancelled/Revoked (2nd Offense) - Violation of F.S.S 806.13(1)(b)(2) - Criminal Mischief - Property Damage over $200 but less than $1,000 - Violation of F.S.S 843.02 - Obstruction Without Violence - Violation of F.S.S 322.03(5) - Driving with License Expired for More Than 6 Months - Violation of F.S.S 322.03(4) - Operating a Motorcycle Without Endorsement All events occurred within Palm Beach County, State of Florida.

Five bad combinations: -Running from the cops on a Harley -Zero protective riding gear -Shorts -Flip-flop -Zero riding skills As a motorcyclist for about 45 years, I say: well-deserved fall, Mr. Dumb Harley. Good job, Officer, for tackling this 63-year-old comedian! 😄 Thanks, Scooper. This video made my day.

Hey dum#*ss,,,,,if you’ve been riding for “45 years” you should recognize that he is NOT on a Harley. Mo#on! That bike was way too fast for a Harley anyway.

Running from the cops is stupid, doing it on a cruiser bike in shorts and no helmet is moronic.
@nigeltufnel9525Ай бұрын
People do that because they know the consequences are laughable. 14 months in county lockup is like a day at the beach for people like him.

That had to leave a mark. Can't see what is actually going on once on the ground. Probably reading him his rights to a Community Activist and free vegetarian meals at the Sally-Port Social Club. In Fort Worth, he would be spending a few days at John Peter Smith Hospital.

Age 63 with such a mind boggling level of stupidity, one must wonder how did this dude survived for that many years in the real world? The take down at the end is priceless.

The video before this I watched a dude get smoked by the cops for dropping his gun. They said it was pointed at them so they had to “ neutralize the threat”

If you're this much of a donut at 63, you're never gonna learn. He's damn lucky they don't PIT bikers. Driving the wrong way in traffic increases the level of stupidity by 10x.
