And that usually involves driving through mud, through deep snow, crossing farmfields and getting through the rough terrain of woodlands... You think an ordinary car is better suited to do that? @@SkruffyTalez_TheWarzone just be careful where ya go in uk and eu. i believe russian kgb brought to attention to putin, content creators for ukraine raising money and drones and awareness for ukraine and they wanted them asassinated. David Knowles of telegraph who did podcasts on ukraine who was getting a million downloads a week died in gibraltar at age 32 of a heart attack. very rare for someone that young to die of heart attack. but its just a few kilometers from where the russian helicopter pilot who gave ukraine a helicopter was shot in spain. so russia assets were active in the area.

Thoughts on this for a concept, could new brigades be equipped, trained and supplied by a donor country still manned in the majority by Ukrainians but would accept volunteers from that donor country, i.e like a brigade trained in the uk would use uk equipment and be supplied by uk

Would most likely be seen as the allied country joining in on the war properly by the Russians. But giving soldiers leave from duty to do... whatever, and then they happen to show up in Ukraine would probably work more without raising the stakes.

@SkruffyTalez_TheWarzone true but then again Russia already claims they are fighting all of nato lol, just thought it might give some Ukrainians that are wary of amount of training and kit they will receive if they join up some confidence and also might appeal to veterans and volunteers from the donor country

While decent, so are the PBV 302 not outstanding making it most suited as a filler alongside other more modern IFV. That means that Ukraine would be best off if they used the PBV 302 as reinforcement for existing units.

I always find these comments interesting. Because they clearly ignore the fact that Ukraine does not have all that many IFVs and are forced to conduct assaults with APCs, like the M113, as well as Humvees. So here we have an APC with excellent offroad capability, ok armor and a gun that can threaten alot of vehicles, especially from the flank. And yet, Ukraine should not use it for offensive action...

@@SkruffyTalez_TheWarzone I didn't say they shouldn't use them for offensive action, just that they would do well as reinforcement for existing units. I would assume all mechanised units are used for offensive actions. The picture also shows it along with what looks like another type of IFV as well, so I guess Ukraine agrees with me that they benefits from being paired up with an IFV with either a larger cannon or some anti-tank missile. I would think that it is also an issue that they have that initial batches of IFV they have gotten do not have replacements for losses.

@@SkruffyTalez_TheWarzone of course the pbv 302 shouldn't be used for offensive action! First of all, they are made for defence and not attack (bonus point for the unfortunate politrickian who uttered such words). Secondly, everyone knows golf carts and crossbikes is the proper way to attack with minimal losses. Thus Sweden should immediately send any remaining Husqvarna for the final march on Moscow.

PBV 302 is an APC, NOT a combat vehicle like CV90.

@@petter5721 the M113 is an APC, and it is used by Ukraine to storm trenches because they dont have enough IFVs. Please call Ukraine and explain to them that they should stop attacking Russian positions at once.

In our old organization PB63 mid 1960 to 1990 it was a fighting vehical. But! In this video i cant see the turrent?! Maybe its a trainingvehical. Some of the turrents went to arm our SISU ( there is a another name i know😊)

Don't not knitpick terminology if you don't know both the definitions and the doctrines. A combat vehicle is simply a vehicle intended to be used in combat. Armoured fighting vehicles (AFV) is the encompassing term for all armoured vehicles used in combat, both wheeled and tracked. Then you have Americans constantly reinventing their lingo whenever they catch up to the rest (Hunter-Killer on tanks) or wants to make a sales pitch (5th generation aircraft).
